Freeper friends, Terri's Memorial Service is this coming Tuesday night in Gulfport, Florida. Please check and see if www.baynews9.com will carry it on the internet.
I'm still sad and in disbelief that the rescue fell apart. It was on it's way. We were waiting there for ambulances but instead two Sheriff's cruisers arrived.
There's much work to do. There are many work groups here carrying on for Terri.
The April Daily Thread as before will be a meeting place, a news digest and even in the midst of sorrow, a place to make friends.
I want to thank everyone who did everything humanly possible for Terri and her family. Terri's safe now from a room with the blinds closed, strange people and armed guards. She'd still be here if it wasn't for judicial despots who it appears have never read the Declaration of Independence or the U.S. or Florida Constitution.
Freepers, Republicans and Democrats alike voted against Terri or didn't do enough to save her from Judge Greer.
I'd like to thank Ralph Nader, David Boies, Joe Lieberman and Wesley Smith, Phd, author of Forced Exit.
I have disdain for the Naughty Nine Republicans in the Florida Senate who vote "No" which barred Terri from legislative relief. The GOP House Members who voted "No" on Terri, shame on them too.
WHAT EXACTLY IS THE AGENDA AND WHO IS IN CHARGE? I'm afraid that Judge George Greer is in charge - of everything.
PLEASE HELP FLORIDA... CALL YOUR SENATORS AND CONGRESSMEN/WOMEN.
HELP US. We feel stranded by tyranny today, but Florida is ripe for change. We will demand it together as Americans.
Thanks, FV
Oh that is just precious....you have me in tears. I have been away from FR this afternoon. HUG those precious people for me. Tell them in Los Angeles, is someone that Terri has profoundly affected for the better!!!!!! She lit up our lives and we will miss her terribly!!!!!!!!
WHAT???????? Now Greer wants to see if Terriwas abused by Michael? Why does he want to see it now? What has made him care now? What didn't he care before? Oh that man!
I know, it actually has brought a tear to my eyes when i read it!
did anyone listen to Hannity this afternoon?? He REALLY came down with a senator( didn't catch his name but he sounded african american)........Sean lambasted him on the activist judge!!!!!!!!!
I didn't listen today, been so busy! I wish i had! Darn!
he had a knock down drag out with the senator that voted against the Bill for Terri. I was screaming GO SEAN here in the room!!!!LOL!!.... I don't know who the guy was that he was talking to but I got the feeling that HE had called into Sean and raked him over the coals for calling the Judge a " Activist", etc.......Sean really took care of this guy!!!!!!
I am SO impressed with the courage and GUTS that this pastor had in writing and addressing the REAL ISSUE, morality and integrity!!!!!
???????? did I miss a post??
I wonder if that's true. I can't imagine Greer wanting to open it at this late date. Could he have been wrong about Michael and his intentions? < /sarc>
Frist is coming out against Delay. I'm not at all surprised. Check the following article out from Fox News. It was reported on *Special Report*, on Fox News. I'm getting really tired of the way Fox News continues to support what happened to Terri.

Frist OK With Court System After Schiavo Case
Tuesday, April 05, 2005
WASHINGTON Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist (search) said Tuesday that federal judges' rejection of efforts by Congress to keep Terri Schiavo (search) alive will not affect the escalating dispute between Democrats and Republicans over President Bush's judicial nominees.
"I don't associate the two issues directly," Frist told reporters.
Frist, R-Tenn., declined to join with conservatives who have complained about the federal court system in relation to the Schiavo case. "I believe we have a fair and independent judiciary today," he said.
END OF QUOTE.
Notice what Frist said above. "I believe we have a fair and independent judiciary today."
How can Senate Majority Leader Frist say the judiciary is fair? Frist appears to be just another HINO. It's a stinking shame that they removed Sen. Lott, as the Majority Leader.
A friend told me that negative reviews re: Felos' book were erased on Amazon.com.
Here's what she said in an e-mail:
"And for weeks I know that others at Blogs for Terri, etc., have
mentioned these reviews. So something was wrong when I went on April 2 to find only
TWO. And one of those was the following, which can only explain what happened.:
_______________________________________________
AMAZON PRACTICES CENSORSHIP!!, April 2, 2005
Reviewer: Randy J. Earley (Naperville, IL) - See all my reviews
Shame on Amazon for removing all (at least 17) NEGATIVE
reviews of this book!! Why is there a constant vigil kept here
and each review is removed soon after it goes up? What are
you afraid of? I've been keeping vigil too and and have copied
13 of these. Censorship is very unseemly for a bookseller."
Thank you. I'm afraid too many naive people will see the movie and end up thinking euthanasia is a good thing.
I called this morning, and left a message on CBS answering machine & said CBS has stooped to a new low, making a hero out of a man who murdered his wife, and PAYING him millions of $$, & if they air the movie, I will record it, fast forward the movie, & write down the commercials, and tell their advertises that I will boycott them.
Even if I only have time to get SOME of commericials, I will at least do that. I have done this in the past about other things.
I'll repeat the contact info for those interested:
"Ping to #95 and 96.
Tell CBS not to show the Terri movie, which depicts Michael as a loving husband (when he murdered her) or their advertisers will be notified and boycotted.
cbs phone # is 212-975-3247; e-mail is audsvcs@cbs.com"
Both Frist and Lott are former Democrats. Frist donated to the 1990 reelection of Albert Arnold Gore, Jr., didn't he? I think I read that years ago.
Frist should be sent copies of the Zogby poll also. We should send them to all our Senaotrs and congressman, as well as Tom Delay.
Do they think we will just sit back and NOT pressure them to act?
How about that. Their censorship knows no bounds.
Yes
It's a BEAUTIFUL picture. I am sure the mass will be also.
Well, they couldn't be more wrong!
