Rev. Gene Robinson: Jesus 'might be 'gay''
WorldNetDaily.com ^ | April 3, 2005 | WorldNetDaily

Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson, the first openly
homosexual bishop of his denomination, has angered
traditionalist Anglicans by suggesting that Jesus
Christ might have been homosexual.

Robinson, who left his wife – and mother of his two
daughters – to cohabit with his male lover, Mark, made
his inflammatory remarks during an address
titled, "Homosexuality and the Body of Christ: Is There
a New Way?" at Christ Church of Hamilton and Wenham,
Massachusetts. The bishop was asked by a congregant how
Christians could both accept homosexuality and the
Bible's emphasis on redemption for sins.

There is all kinds of blastphemy of the lord on the internet.
Just because a google search turns up this garbage, doesn't mean it's worth reading. or has any truth to it.
Satan decieves in any way he can to turn your soul from God.

Pathological narcissism, egoism, self-inflation, or extreme self-absortion could qualify as a "psychic disorder" barring one from ordination in the Catholic Church (doctrines PROPERLY understood).

Gee, there goes any chance for John Kerry to have a religious vocation.

This isn't new...homosexual "scholars" have said that same-sex sexual relationships existed between King David and Jonathan, Paul and Timothy, Jesus and His disciples. Of course, the youth of America don't know any better...who are Gene Robinson's target.

"Those who would posit the nuclear family as the be all and end all of God's creation probably don't find that much in the gospels to support it," he concluded.

Well, we all saw this coming except the left-wing of the Anglican church that elected him.

God's plan for a family consisting of a man and a wife is all through the bible, including the gospels. Robinson apparently does not believe that the same God who wrote the book of Genesis was the same God that Christ claimed to be. For this, he is not even a Christian (which was evident anyway by his behavior).

Robinson wants to be very selective in his interpretation in order to support justification for his sins.

The sheer insanity of this mind boggling. This could never be; Jesus was without sin.

Homosexuals, on the other hand are guilty of an abomination and must be be put to death:

"If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death. (Leviticus 20:13)

In the Catholic Church, I can assure you that there have been and are VERY HEATED debates and arguments that homosexuals and anyone with gender ambiguities or psychosexual disorders should not be ordained or admitted to holy orders

I agree, After Pope JPII called the American cardinals to Rome, they were told to formulate new policies, which they did. My understanding is screening has been intensified to reject the sexual deviants who would aspire to the clergy. It was done too late but at least done. The problem now, at least what I have heard, is that some of the more liberal order seminaries may not be following policy.

There's NOTHING in the gospels to support buggery.

When people don't truly respect themselves, they feel the need to disrespect everything and everyone else.

"God's light and God's life ooze over me like warm butter," he declares.
He really said that?

Disgusting isn't it.

His erotic, out of control life is poisoning everything he says.

The irony to the situation is because of the church, over the last 1600 years, discrediting and downplaying Mary Magdalen's relationship with Jesus, they leave themselves open to these types of, 'Jesus was gay', arguements.

Yeah right, because the Gaystapo never accuses men in hetero relationships of being gay.

I will bet this heretic would even go as far as to quote from John 20:2 to substantiate his claims:

"Therefore she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple (John) whom Jesus loved, and said to them, "They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have laid him"

For what it's worth our small non-ECUSA traditional Episcopalian Church has seen a HUGE increase in membership in the last year to the point where we're facing a huge space problem.
We're 1928 prayer book and our first article of religion is that priests must be male hetrosexuals in just those words.

Here in New England the Episcopal Church is deeply involved in the issues of our culture. They affiliate themselves completely with inclusiveness, homosexual equality and the full promotion alternative lifestyles.

Then there are the occasional stalwaarts who are trying to hold the line against the strong, strong tide. Why they bother is beyond me.

The EC seems hopelessly bent on self destruction by trusting in their own invented culture of virtue.

"Seems like the global Anglican community will indeed have a scism--the American branch of Anglicanism would rather follow the ways of the world than the ways of God."

- Somehow (and just how would make the subject for a good book), homosexuals, their supporters and other liberal social worker types have taken over this Christian denomination.
The anglican church is now doomed, as doomed as doomed can be. All that remains is for various governments and land speculators to fight over the distribution of it's real estate holdings - often located in prime business locations. I feel sorry for it's remaining adherents - often aged members who survey their increasingly empty pews each week in bewilderment. The hierarchy of the church have betrayed their faithful support as surely as Judas betrayed Christ.

-had a disciple who was known as 'the one whom Jesus loved'-

Homosexuals are always confusing love with sex. That's the whole problem.

"The sheer insanity of this is mind boggling"

For people who have read and understood God's Word in the Bible, the proclamations of Robinson are obvious lies.

I feel that Robinson's success in attaining the position of bishop is due to the fact that many church goers have never read the Bible, or have read it without understanding.

Another reason for his success is that there are people who are in satan's control whose aim is to taint the Word of God in any way they can...

This man Robinson is an abomination...
