Rev. Gene Robinson: Jesus 'might be 'gay''

Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson, the first openly
homosexual bishop of his denomination, has angered
traditionalist Anglicans by suggesting that Jesus
Christ might have been homosexual.

Robinson, who left his wife – and mother of his two
daughters – to cohabit with his male lover, Mark, made
his inflammatory remarks during an address
titled, "Homosexuality and the Body of Christ: Is There
a New Way?" at Christ Church of Hamilton and Wenham,
Massachusetts. The bishop was asked by a congregant how
Christians could both accept homosexuality and the
Bible's emphasis on redemption for sins.

why does this sunofabitch get any print at all?

Exactly my thoughts. I have a theory and just as credible evidence that Jesus was the king of disco. My view is even shared by a bit part in an episode of Family Guy. Why isn't anyone writing an article about me and my theory?

Homosexual Agenda Ping.

Haven't read the thread yet; obviously V. Gene Robinson is not only mad but ready to spontaneously burst into flame at any moment.

If the "gay" infiltration of the Episcopalian (and many other) churches hadn't happened so slowly, people would be massing with pitchforks and torches. But the frogs have gotten used to the increasing water temperature.

Here is crystal clear evidence that church buildings, tradition, hierarchies, religious titles, vestments, kneelers, holding religious services, carrying around Bibles and so on don't necessarily have anything to do with God. These vicious fools couldn't be farther away from God even if they were cockroaches.

Let DirtyHarryY2K and me know if you want on/off this pingilst.

Note: A person can worship God at home, under a tree, in the privacy of his or her own heart. No church necessary. Not that fellowship with believers is not good - it is very good. But the shallow - and indeed often false - association of fake believers such as is now current in the Episcopalian church - makes people think they're "okay" when in fact they'd be better off worshipping God in a field or in their living rooms. Anywhere but with sick blasphemers such as those playing along with V. Gene.

How is this guy still in a leadership position in this church?

Never underestimate the power of the Lavender mafia or the bugger networks. Triple-reverse blackmail, unsavory skulduggery, you name it.

It was always a great mystery how they managed to manipulate and control the Catholic university where I spent my career. Let's just say certain other secret societies worked in tandem with them pursuing highly weird social engineering agendas. In the Catholic church, frequently you will see a gay priest or bishop farming out stained glass work or architectural "wreckovation" contracts to homosexual artist and architect "friends." Presumably, someone's lover.

After the contract is all salaried out, you can just imagine the resort properties in South Beach, Key West, and Miami where church funds end up going in the MILLIONS.

I'm sure this will arrest the mass exodus from the Episcopalian Church.

The EC gets what it deserves a bishop that is homosexual first and Christian second.

Has anyone investigated what resort properties "Bishop" Robinson and his partner have invested in?

Why do so many profane Jesus?

Simplistic question, I know. Just amazing.

It will be interesting to see who the episcopals merge their church as they become exinct.

They already have liturgical and other sharing arrangements with the ELCA (leftist) Lutherans. The ELCA bishops did not have as lucrative a retirement and benefit package as the Episcopalians, and those perks were apparently enough of an inducement to consummate the union. The ELCA brass have been stalling their public approval of homosexual ordaination in order to forestall an exodus of parishoners' checkbooks, but you may consider them already conjoined at the pelvis.

they probably need more time to tie up land and trust endowments. Too bad there is no way to publicly expose what you state to a wider audience.

Gene Robinson creates a God in Gene Robinson's own image. His beliefs are pure humanism and pure narcissism. This man has sticks around the church because he still needs a job. He has nothing to do with religion.

Gene Robinson is an atheist priest of a "christian" church?

The irony to the situation is because of the church, over the last 1600 years, discrediting and downplaying Mary Magdalen's relationship with Jesus, they leave themselves open to these types of, 'Jesus was gay', arguements.

Oh, I see. Either way, we simply MUST believe that Jesus couldn't keep it in his pants, eh? Great.

I think they was to ACCELERATE the exodus.

It will be interesting to see whose sex partners end up buying the church real estate.

"Sorry we had to sell this church and property to Mr. Bruse. It is tradginc the church is going to be a homosexual bathhouse, but we have to deal with ecconomic reality. The fact Mr. Bruse is the sex partner to Father Twinkletoes had noooooooothing to do with the sale."
