Not so. See the post I responded to.
His post was perfect. You are politicizing this thread.
Thanks for all of the wonderful pictures and captions.
It was inappropriate.
I'm filled with quite a bit of envy today -- envious for not being as close as those standing outside his bedroom window hoping he heard my prayers and envious of those whom I lost who are welcoming this magnificent man Home. This man has devoted his life to what awaits him and that too leaves me with envy.
When I saw people applauding the news, I was taken aback until realizing that Heaven and Earth are celebrating his arrival.
Offering my prayers
When did you get here???
Nice first post on the thread, by the way... If you haven't noticed, we've so far been fine today without you.... Frankly, and I don't want to put words in other people's mouths here but, it sure as heck wouldn't bother me a lick if you were to just, piss off....

Many of us saw something more spiritual. I pray you find peace in your soul.
This has all sorts of interesting info on JP I, the Pope who served for only a month:

You all realize if I attempted that right there, I'd be here until Thursday, right??? :)

You surprise me Ivan. Pleasantly so.
Prayers for a great man. I am not Catholic but have tremendous respect for this man. Best to all my Catholic brothers and sisters here on FR. Now is the time for joy not grief.
LOL--the photos with Castro and Bubba are interesting too, when compared with the rest.
Wow, that's such a Christian attitude on a thread about the passing of the Holy Father.

However ContraryMary, in the meantime you could...... ok, I'm sorry NaughtiNurse, I won't say bad things anymore... :)
For us you leave behind, we are truly thankful that God gave us your leadership and love.

Oh, my goodness!
Well...I might be too!
