buh-bye..........
Why should the LM get all the fun?
Famous last words
His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
He is a good man.
I think I have plenty of patience for seeing the Holy Father alive!! I just don't have patience in not knowing if he acutualy IS!!
I take it now HE IS.

Not saying it doesn't....just saying that Protestants and Catholics have much more in common than we have apart. I happen to believe in once saved, always saved...but also don't think that absolves one of taking responsibility for their actions. I think that someone who "loses their salvation" never had it in the first place. That's one difference in believer's baptism and infant baptism. There is a conscious choice made to accept Christ at an age where one knows that they are a sinner and apart from God except through Christ.
I'm not trying to impugn Catholicism. Just giving my point of view as a Protestant...that being said, we are all children of God. Not meaning to offend anyone.
You're not kidding.
SEE YA!!
She will be called blessed by every generation, as you have cited. But Jesus gave her to the care of John as his "mother", to care for her as Jesish custom dictated. Not as the mother of Christians - that concept is unsupported and faulty.
Thanks.
My vaue memory is that the next pope is supposed to live a relatively short time. Then the Pope after him is supposed to be evil in the service of the global leader or some such.
lol. Thank you, sir.
Can I get a zot?
Leave us to our grief, and take your baiting elsewhere.
Have'nt they been eerily accurate though?
Assisted suicide is wrong.
I suspect he is gently sleeping at the moment, slowly passing from this life to the next. Of course, given our instant-access, fibreoptic connected, narcissist media, patience and gentility in reportage are likely to be lacking.
Regards, Ivan
LOL Thanks! You've brightened up what's been so far a sad day for me!
"The interpretation I read implies that the last Pope will destroy the Church. If you're implying that "Peter of Rome" is Jesus, than do you assume that Jesus is part of the Church today?"
How can the Church be destroyed? The Church is the mystically in a fundamental union with Christ.
How exactly in Post #569 was that suggested??? Where was that said, the post was about a Days of Our Lives episode...
Ah, so saying there are 2 more Popes 'includes' the evil one?
