I suspect he is gently sleeping at the moment, slowly passing from this life to the next. Of course, given our instant-access, fibreoptic connected, narcissist media, patience and gentility in reportage are likely to be lacking.

Maybe when he was sick a few weeks ago, they pushed him to hard to recuperate for Easter. Maybe his body wasn't ready to leave his sick bed.
