OTOH, after being on FR
any length of time, one of the first things you learn is that if you have a question, 21 people have an answer and 22 more people will provide a link. It is much easier than slogging through some of the garbage that google regurgitates.
An incredible collection on intellect here and always willing to help out.

I don't know what the "Church of Sainthood" is nor how it might validate anyone being in heaven. Only the One who is worthy to open the book of life can validate whose name is written therein. And He is the head of the true church, not a demoninational construct clung to by men.

I believe they'll announce it at midnight. (no basis, just my belief) I agree. It wouldn't be seemly for him to die on April fools day. Wouldn't the Catholic haters just love that?

EWTN is now reporting the Pope has died.
Oddly EWTN is still running a crawl stating that the Vatican denies this.
Oh well, mistakes abound. At least these aren't terribly consequential mistakes, compared to the atrocious reporting by the MSM about Terri Schiavo.

On its rediscovery in 1595 it was rejected by the Church authorities as fraudulent but the content of the prophecies remains remarkably and chillingly accurate: to this day 90 percent have come true."I would argue that for a prophecy to truly be of divine inspiration, it's accuracy rate would have to be 100%. Anything less would not be Divinely inspired, unless God can be anything less than 100% right, which by definition would make God not God, but less than God.

Kerry and others like him are "apostate" fallen away believers or those who never truly believed. Consider the parable of the sower of the seed. Not all the seeds bear good fruit or produce plants that go to maturity.
You are right about grace it is not to be taken cheaply. That is a teaching that is similar across all Christian sects and is fundamentally important to basic Christianity. Grace is also freely given by God and it is best to always have a penitent heart.
