HAS ANYONE JUST HEARD FNC???? Just said the Hoy Father's heart and brain are still functioning and is still alive....
Shepard Smith now says that the Vatican news service is reporting the Pope's heart and brain are still alive. Whatever that may mean.
To: Dont Mention the War
It was reported 30 seconds ago that the Pope still lives.

Interesting. I didn't know the whole process other than the cardinals gather to elect the next Pope.
Thanks for the info.

EWTN the Catholic cable station is reporting that the Pope has passed away.
And now Shep Smith on Fox is saying the Vatican is saying that the Pope's brain and heart are still functioning.
To: Lizarde
FoxNews now says he still has brain & heart activity - says they got ahead of themselves with the report that he died.
To: rhetorica
Fox now reporting that the Vatican is reporting that the Pope's heart and brain are still functioning.I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that EWTN has better sources than Reuters (who Shep was quoting) on this.

If FOXNEWS producers are trying to gain a competitive advantage from being first they should be roundly criticized!!!!!I don't think so - they had an Italian producer's voice coming over the translation of a statement from Rome saying "The Pope is dead," and Shep ran with it, quickly correcting himself.

If it had to happen to someone at Fox, there are few (if any) better for it to happen to.

A few minutes ago Pope John Paul II heard these words:
Well done, thou good and faithful servant.
