Just a quick question. Did the Pope have any living blood relatives?

Well, that did it. I've tried to maintain my composure all week but I may as well let it all go. And I have no doubt you are absolutely right.

Prayers: For condolences to the many who loved and looked up to Pope John Paul. And may God provide a courageous, righteous replacement in his place, in Jesus' Name, amen.

Goodbye dear man.
I am not Catholic, but I had much respect for the man. RIP, your Holiness.

A man with great dignity and class will be missed.

Well it's all over the web too. If he's not, somebody's in a lot of trouble. Prayers lifted up for any family (don't know if he had any) and loved ones

Yes that was awful. Shep was upset you could tell. It's too bad that clown Shepard Smith happens to be on the air when something like the Pope's death happens. You expect a screwup like that to occur on one of Smith's shows.

Fox News in the tackiest way possible. A translator was speaking, nad someone who sisn't realize her voice would comae across the air was repeating"Pope is dead. Pope is dead, Hello? Anyone in news there? Pope is dead." Then Shep apologized for having us hear that.
Awful. All that dignity, and that is how it's announced.
Your description matches that of my wife. She just called me in tears, she was so upset about the way the news was delivered.
