Fallujah post-mortem
Some Marine units moved through Fallujah in November with Arabic translators. The infantrymen wanted to be able to eavesdrop on the terrorists' radio net.
A Marine told us that, roughly translated, one terrorist was heard to say: "We are fighting. But the Marines keep coming. We are shooting, but the Marines won't stop."
The Marines, backed by Army tanks, captured Fallujah in 11 days and with it the last large base for Abu Musab Zarqawi.

that is a copy of the transmission to Hitler on a morning in June 1944. Some things never change including the HEART of the American in combat.
I was a radar navigator/bombardier on a B-52 during Nam. The ability to drop 100 500 lb. AT ONCE ain't chicken poop. Makes a real mess of things.
I think that was Shalala and she was referring to the Vietnam War. Rather than blaming the politicians for our failure, she said something along the lines of, "we didn't exactly send our best and brightest to fight the war". Outrageous, but perfectly consistent with the klinton adminstration's view of the military.......
If terrorists or any other petty dictator knows that they are going to have to explain exactly why they think its OK to attack Americans to a US Marine, in person, then they are going to give it a bunch of second thoughts.
All America has to do is let the leash loose and the Devil Dogs will chew through such scum.
It's hard to find the good news on the front pages of certain newspapers.
Bad news runs for days.
Also, the ACLU has taken sides with the Mexican invaders against American landowners and citizens.
The commies were kinder.
ACLU members should be shunned,
Semper Fi Brother.
And the list continues to grow.....
I think I got the above quote from Chesty correct, but the meaning is the same then and now.
We are your best friend...and your worst enemy...
keep it up boys.....oooh rah
I made a video with clips of the 9-11 attacks at the beginning and ending with clips of the Marines kicking off in the insurgents' ass in fallujah. one of the clips has a quick interview with a young Marine talking about his day,
"I went up on the roof and one of the bad guys tried to shoot me. He missed. I tried to shoot him, he tossed a frag. I ran away from the frag, tripped over a dead body, one of theirs not ours. Tried to flush him out. Tossed him a frag, he tossed it back. Ran away from the frag. Tripped over the same f**cker again. We're about to go up there and try to flush him out again." I was very proud of this young Marine.
I have emailed this file to several people. Have never been able to get it hosted.
Photo of the year.
Duh, that's what Marines do!

Two Marine Divisions and Two Army Divisions. In fact the invasion of the Rykuyus had begun a week earlier with an Army only landing on one of the outer islands. Thgat landing was strongly opposed but the KIA ratio was something like 80 US to 650 Japanese.
