They have their world-wide headquarters in Clearwater, FL and this is not the first time they have isolated a woman and starved and dehydrated her to death - for their cause. They work through the legal system to promote their religion and have no doubt about it, this was a BIG WIN for their side and Felos is their hero!

you are correct. The purpose of hospice is to care for the terminally ill or dying. Terri was not dying until they killed her by starvation/dehydration.
Felos is epitome of evil. Re watch the news conference he gave after murdering Terri. His tongue darts in and out of his mouth like a serpent. Creepy.
The legislature makes the laws. If we have the unity to control the legislature we can change the laws. If we become more divided we chance to lose all of our law-affecting ability.

Actually, I think those of us who enjoy the intellectual aspects realize we don't determine what makes a life of value, but instead realize life inherently has value because revelation shows us we are made in the image of God Himself. If you don't value man, it shows you don't value God.

Bill Handel reaction to Terri, may be just covering up his own feelings.
His wife lost both parents to cancer, and perhaps they
had to watch both of them die.
He may not want to face the truth of Terri's situation
because it would make him and his wife have to relive
the horror of her parents death.
Sometimes family members do decide to "pull the plug" and
the reality that this event KILLS the dying person, could
be hard to face.
I like Bill Handel, so this must be a personal issue
for him, and he can't see the facts clearly.
I was surprised that my local church never mentioned Terri Schiavo.
I don't know if it's "bible thumping" Christians who do the Lord's Work, or if it's really those who uphold their beliefs as Americans, and tend to visit sites like Free Republic and get involved in politics.
The media may be calling "us" bible-thumping wackjobs to keep the REST of our brothers and sisters in line, and discourage them from joining the fight for right.
IF our churches would speak out more, so much evil could be avoided.
But, most churches and church members, stay silent.
