Just announced on FoxNews that the Schindler family will hold a press conference at 4:30 PM EST.
Oh, how I pray that the Schindler's will sue the pants off of every person who participated in this murder.
I wonder too.
I have had nurses refuse to participate in questionable practices for far less than this. But I am in Canada, so I am unfamiliar with your medical system. Here, nurses and doctors are licensed with great onus being put on personal responsibility and for the most part the hospitals back us up on this.
For me, I would like to find out if for sure, some of the things that have been said are really true, for example, the orders that she not be taken outside, not having any simple ROM done, teethbrushing and the like. This kind of stuff is basic nursing care and no nurse that I know would participate in denying anyone those basic rights.
I will be watching....I intend to get pro-active in this, I do not want to see one more person executed at the will of some black robe tyrant ever again. Thanks for the headup about the broadcast kingattax....
It's funny - the hippie Christian image - I remember college in early '70's and the hippie looking Maranantha guys going around with the long 'Jesus' hair styles trying to hit on every girl they could convince, that they were the way to salvation! I wonder if Felos got his start as a new age prophet in the same way????
"I have been wondering about the caregivers in this hospice. How many will come out and share their observations of this murder in the coming weeks? There has to be at least one among them that is not sleeping well with this."
They'll probably write books.
I would think a caregiver no matter what country would base their service on a high level of personal responsibility. Maybe there is a different standard in the hospice system.
That could really wreak havoc on the right-to-death movement. What will they do if a caregiver were to come out and tell us all about how truly horrible starving Terri actually was?
You sure would hope that's the case.
Here, hospices are part of the hospital (government)system. No private ones.
youre welcome.....and WE ALL need to be very pro-active in this.
I guess the bottom line is, no one should have the right to deny care to anyone. They may request specialized care and are encouraged to do so.
When I read that Michael ordered this be stopped or this not be done, I read it as he must have had a Doctor's order for the nurses to follow or not. We don't take orders from family. Just doctors. And then we can refuse to follow out the order and there is a heirarchy in place to deal with just that happening, and it happens a lot.
What are the chances that someone would actually tell us the truth and would we know it if they did? This whole thing makes me ill. It's a very sad day.
I think that is why he moved her to a hospice, where as her guardian the caregivers would take orders from him.
Let's hear all the accounts, the more the merrier. My hubby has a great saying for this:
"somewhere in the middle of all this horse-manure (pg-13 version) there's a pony."
I don't know how you could stomach watching the jerk. I turned my tv off so that I would not be tempted to break it.
"Certainly she's helped many of us to see clearly the value of Life. Hopefully more will follow."
Bttt, Soul Seeker.
You have a wonderful screen name, btw. Take care. :)
I didn't watch it...it was on Rush's and Hannity's radio programs.
Thanks. I wasn't doubting what you saw, just hoping someone might be able to get screen captures of it. It could be very useful.
"I made a note of your screen name and saved it under Edward Rowe Snow and will try not to forget."
Thanks, Aliska, it sounds like you and I are on the same page. Take care. :)
Should the DCFS investigation go any further or did it end when Terri died?
