You are right. Just listening around my office today, 3/4 roughly are blaming Terri (bulimia) for being in this state in the first place or sympathize with Michael having this long plight on his shoulders. They all say they've declared to relatives to never let them get into that condition but to kill them. If you'd take a look at them you'd agree.
I think 40yrs of culture wars have just left a lot of people too tired to care anymore about anything but donuts and sex. And I think half the people in this office would just as soon be dead anyway (judging from our medical insurance premiums).

Who is being selfish? If the Schindlers truly believe their daughter is conscious, then only a sense of love -- not selfishness -- leads them to work for the preservation of her life. Unless, of course, you think the daily pain of watching your daughter unable to move or communicate, is somehow a benefit to the Schindlers. They are right to err on the side of preserving her life.
If Michael Schiavo truly believes his "wife" has no consciousness, then it can only be for selfish reasons that he would want to end her life. Certainly it is no skin off his back to let her parent's care for her. She doesn't know the difference, right?
If the Schindlers were selfish, they would have let their daughter be killed long ago so they could move on with their lives.
Yes, I'm concerned about the children. I'm always concerned about the children of the likes of Michael and Jodi, Felos, Greer, etc.

After going through all that, fighting that hard, surviving that long - the last thing she sees on this earth is Michael's gloating face...

If by saving the country, we have to trash the Schindlers....then it's not worth saving. I have no idea who Bill Handel is, but thanks for the heads up. I'll be sure to avoid him at all costs.
I noticed this happening a few days ago. How the Schindlers are the enemy because they made Republicans look bad. If I ever find out that this tripe came from the RNC, I'll work tirelessly to defeat them. Evil should never be rewarded.
