Planned Parenthood Thanks Anti-Terri Voters

On Thursday, March 24, the director of public affairs for Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida sent an e- mail to advocates for the abortion operation telling them how to "express your appreciation" to Florida Republican senators who split with the GOP leadership by voting against a bill intended to save Terri Schiavo, according to David Bereit, national director of American Life League's STOPP International.

Story Continues Below

The message listed the names and contact information for the six senators.

In a Wednesday, March 30, phone conversation with David Bereit, the Planned Parenthood executive admitted to sending the e-mail and said, "We just felt that it was pretty courageous of them (the six senators) to do what they did, and it's always a good idea to thank legislators when they do something you like."

When asked by Bereit about the specifics of the measure, the abortion clinic employee admitted, "I really am not sure exactly what the legislation said," but explained that she sent out the e-mail because, "I think probably the majority of our supporters feel that there should not be government intrusion, that the court should be the ones handling this issue, as it has, and so that's why I did it."

"It shouldn't surprise anyone that Planned Parenthood and its supporters think the courts should ultimately decide who lives and who dies in America," Bereit explained. "After all, it was the courts that forced abortion upon America, giving Planned Parenthood the ability to make over $100 million a year by terminating innocent children."

Bereit added, "This is just one more example of why people across America are uniting to oppose Planned Parenthood and its destructive agenda.

"Apparently Planned Parenthood isn't content with killing 244,628 innocent children in the last year through abortion. Now the harmful organization is telling its advocates how to thank elected officials for voting against a measure aimed at saving the life of Terri Schiavo."

"The political careers of all who voted to exterminate Terri should be terminated with extreme prejudice."

Amen to that.

"I think probably the majority of our supporters feel that there should not be government intrusion, that the court should be the ones handling this issue,

huh? The court is not part of the government? Oh ... wait ... the court is greater than the government ....

never mind ....

I can see it now. Planned Parenthood spawns a new "pro-choice" organization, "Planned Inheritance", supporting the rights of heirs to get all that's due them, and urging parents to choose an easy, early death, rather than selfishly spending their kids' inheritance.(/s)

"Reminds me, we haven't heard a peep out of the ACLU..."

Oh, yes we have. In fact, they filed some sort of brief and letter of support for the rights of Michael Shaivo in this case. Heck, O'Reilly has been going off on them for the last two nights because of their intervention in this case.

Is Planned Parenthood planning to cash in on a new coerced euthanasia for profit industry?

How about providing clinics for killing imperfect babies?

Netherlands hospital euthanizes babies

A hospital in the Netherlands the first nation to permit euthanasia recently proposed guidelines for mercy killings of terminally ill newborns, and then made a startling revelation: It has already begun carrying out such procedures, which include administering a lethal dose of sedatives.

Felos thanked them publicly the other day.

They don't even try to hide the fact that they are simply a pro-death organization. There is no other reason for them to make a statement regarding this case.

One of the dirty little secrets of the ultra-lucrative abortion industry is that late term babies are occasionally born alive, then murdered ex-utero (outside the womb) by Planned Parenthood staff. The Terri Schindler case is a step toward legalizing this evil practice.

Hence the otherwise inexplicable support by Planned Parenthood.

What the hell does Planned Parenthood thinks it has to do with the Schiavo case?

They cared for women who opted to risk their lives while undergoing in back-alley abortions.

They don't seem to care as much about women who are forcibly starved to death in a hospice.

Interesting comment coming from "Planned Abortion."

I was lead to believe that many if not most of these State Senators (Republicans) had run as"Pro-Life."

Nice to know that they are stealth "Pro-Death" after they are elected.

They all had once chance to prove how Pro-Life they were and failed it.

The rejoinder could be "Planned Parenthood Could Save Them The Work." I would dearly love to "euthanize" this loathsome pack of ghouls. They are evil. Jonathan Alter was particularly malicious when he wrote Terri off as "a drooling idiot."

I appreciate the fact that at least the esteemed Mr. Alter has the good manners to spare us all the spit.
