Terri Schiavo (search) died Thursday morning around 10 a.m. EST after her parents had plead with her husband Michael Schiavo to allow them to be at their brain-damaged daughter's bedside in her final hours, a spokesman for the family said.
Schiavo died heading into her 14th day without food and water amid what could be the final legal setback for her parents after the U.S. Supreme Court refused again to hear their plea to reinsert Schiavo's feeding tube.

Please say prayers to her family, and to everyone who wanted to keep her standing.
The judges that ruled in favor of letting her die should be charged with murder.
President Bush to come on and say something in one hour per Fox.
I share everyone's sentiments, but wanted to make a comment on this radio host, Michael Savage. I heard him for the first time about two weeks ago. He was singing the praises of George Bush for flying to DC to sign the bill asking for a federal court review of judge Greer's decision, (a Clinton appointee?)
The last few nights he has changed his tune and has been lambasting the Bush Boys for "doing nothing." I think these are dangerous statements that will undermine any positive that may come out of this terrible tragedy--namely a hard boiled look at our court system.
We do not live in a monarchy, Mr. SAvage. We have a govt with three branches. The least powerful used to be the judicial. We now realize that it is the most powerful maybe next to talk show host bullies like you.
The parents were willing to bear the burden of her care plain and simple. They filed to obtain guardianship when they believed the husband had a conflict of interest and was not speaking for what was in the best interest of their daughter.
The husband's custody or right to speak for his wife should have ended at the very least, when he had the first child with his common law wife and when there was a clear conflict of interest.
Greer was convinced that TErri had clearly expressed her desire not to be on life support of any kind.
But this post is more about this guy SAvage and his new bandwagon which is to undermine our President. I find him offensive and boorish. People call in and he cuts them off.
I mean hangs up on them. He's as bad as we say the far left Michael Moore's are.
I'm conservative republican and believe with most of what SAvage was saying a couple weeks ago, but I am extremely upset with the what he is saying about our president now.
Allot of people from both sides of the aisle agreed that what happened in Florida was wrong.
Bush is not our King, and cannot act like one. If this case makes us look long and hard at the abusive power of our court system and results in fixing it, then Terri did not die in vain but for all of us.

It may be wise for the Florida DA's office to investigate the money expenditures by the husband in regards to the court settlement and the care given. If he spent the money on her great-if not things should be looked at.
Evil won today. Let's make sure it doesn't happen again.
If this information hasn't had a separate posting, it deserves to have its own thread.
It's obvious that the LEOs in Pinellas County are inbred and corrupt. If anything is to be done about all these crimes in which Greer, Schiavo, and the Sherriff's office have been involved, it will have to come from a state investigation.
These criminals cannot be allowed to escape unpunished.
I have my suspicions as to why he denied access to her family and that he was with her when she died. I've been afraid of my suspicions for a while, that what if he felt that she wasn't dying fast enough? A pillow over the face can't be traced, can it?
This was not our finest hour.
And may God have mercy on our souls.
YES - I'd charge the judges who ruled in favor of removing her feeding tube all with first-degree murder.
In the wake of this tragedy, I had a thought. I wonder if the insurance companies can say that judicial ordered death is not natural causes and refuse to pay on Michael's life insurance policies on Terri. That would be poetic justice for him to be denied the monetary profits from her death.
No violence, stay legal. Do find vengence however.
It's time to change the careers of a some bad politians, and many evil judges.
Prayers Up... RIP
Move along, folks. Nothing to see here.
Those are my sentiments as well. If people want to get serious, we still do have a 2nd ammendment.
Anyone who thinks there is any similarity between the deaths of Terri Schiavo and Nicole Simpson is delusional!
Pavone said Michael Schiavo outright rejected the Schindlers' request to be with their daughter in her final moments.
"His heartless cruelty continued until the end," he said.
May MS rot in Hell for all eternity and be hounded by legal litigation for the rest of his life.
I prayed since this whole thing began a long time ago. I trust God. These are not wasted words. It must be noted that Terri could not have survived a bunch of people trying to feed her without that tube, nor could she have swallowed any water given to her to sustain her. She would have drowned in the water. WE care.
