There was was once a great nation.
Who used to follow God's Law.
Then one day this nation
Decided that man's law was better.
And caught in the web was a helpless women.
And those who demanded her death let her suffer.
Rather than at least demand she be given lethal injection.
Her crime was she was not a criminal.
Because in this once great nation
It was decided she had less rights than a criminal.
While criminals got 3 meals a day and drink.
She got none.
May God have mercy on this once great nation.
God will judge all in the end.
Those who sat by and "worried" about man's law
And "politics"
Rather than save a helpless woman
And allowed her to suffer by starving her and giving her no drink
Will have to answer.

I'm with you Tonk. This was an awful time for America....murder and cowardice mixed.

America did not distinguish itself today. I will pray that this country once again finds its soul.

Amen, Tonk! My heart just breaks for her family and my prayers go with them and may God give them the comfort that no person can. May Terri rest in her Father's arms.

My heart is absolutely broken over this. It is the worst injustice I have seen since Elian. Michael Schiavo has pulled off what Scott Peterson could only dream of -- the elimination of a "problem", with the added bonus of the consent of the media.
It is a dark day.
May Terri rest at peace. May those who love her find solace in knowing that His justice is absolute.

Yes, Tonk.
I am so aware of the depth of agony on these threads and see there is a chasm widening in our Nation.
I will choose LIFE, no matter what comes.
I want to die by God's calling me home........not man's decree.
This young woman was murdered by an unfeeling and blind judge,
a ghoulish lawyer and
a fiendish, cruel, so-called husband.
Our courts pushed this death along the way.
THERE WAS NO MERCY.....
Our court system in this Country needs to be taken down several notches!
All the more reason for the March for Justice in Washington on April 7th, 2005.
I wish I could be there.............
God Bless the Schindler family and may they have peace.
And may peace be the driving force on the threads of this forum!!!

Thanks, Tonk.
The lady fought a gallant effort against the odds that were stacked against her. Not her physical impairments for I believe her will would have overcome given the help, love, and therapy that she needed. But the odds of living when at least 3 people wanted to see her dead and had the authority (from where, needs further investigation) to make it happen.
They have succeeded and I am all for a complete accounting of those whose decisions that appear to be based on their own best interests brought this tragedy about.
May Michael, Judge Greer and the attorney Felos be exposed for their self-centered agenda and may the blood of Terri be eternally on their heads.
I pray for Bob and Mary Schindler and their loss. I feel that their faith in the American judicial system kept them from taking more drastic steps to save the daughter they loved. The system let them down. If and when another case of this magnitude becomes an issue, may God and life loving Americans do the right thing to see that life is preserved and justice prevails.

With Hope
(Click the candle for music)
Now you are gone away Left us with the memories of your smile And nothing we can say And nothing we can do Can take away the pain The pain of losing you, but... We can cry with hope We can say goodbye with hope 'Cause we know our goodbye is not the end, And we can grieve with hope 'Cause we believe with hope There's a place where we'll see your face again Through the cloud of tears I see the Father's smile and say well done And I imagine you Where you wanted most to be Seeing all your dreams come true 'Cause now you're home And now you're free, and... We have this hope as an anchor 'Cause we believe that everything God promised us is true, so... We wait with hope We ache with hope We hold on with hope We let go with hope

Amen to that. No other nation ever had the blessings this one did, and the nation is throwing them away now. I dread the judgment He may send now, but know it will be just. I pray He will be merciful.
