Terri Schiavo has passed away

Thank you for letting me know. Poor Mrs. Shindler. I think that I'd lose my mind if someone prevented me from being with my baby while she was dying.

Sheesh, you people act as if she was the Messiah.

She is better off in God's hands.

Of course she is - and every Christian here understands she is has overcome death through Jesus Christ.

What were pissed off about is the devaluation of life, to a point where there is no sanctity, no compassion, no love.........and that speaks to the condition of the heart of herr Michael, an unrestrained judiciary and a government more concerned about poll numbers

She is now in communion with God. Thankfully no one can snatch her out of his hands. She is eating the bread of life right now. How satisfying.

Hard pill to swallow, personally. I would prefer to take an eye for an eye.

But the Boss is the Boss. He tells us what to do. And that includes sucking it up.

Been mulling this over since I initially heard it.

Too many Christians and too many churches do nothing. They are standing idly by, they are mere spectators. They sit on the sidelines instead of actively participating and working for the good. If good wins, they join in the celebration though they did nothing to produce the victory. If evil wins, they will complain long and loud though their own apathy helped produce the undesirable result.

When Jesus found a fig tree with "nothing thereon, but leaves only" He cursed the tree and "presently the fig tree withered away" (Matt. 21:19). What will He do with those who claim to be good and yet who do nothing? John the baptist warned, "And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire" (Matt. 3:10; John 15:2).

Just to clarify: That was the 2nd Paragraph of that DUmmie's comments. I didn't say those things.

Don't do that, you play into the rats hands. That's what they want. The best thing that can happen after this tragic occurrence is that everyone responsible be punished.

Glenn Beck is on now saying, If you're Michael Schiavo and you say you really love your wife and you want what's best for her...would you order that they stop brushing her teeth? Stop range of motion therapy? Good point!

In the wake of this tragedy, I had a thought. I wonder if the insurance companies can say that judicial ordered death is not natural causes and refuse to pay on Michael's life insurance policies on Terri. That would be poetic justice for him to be denied the monetary profits from her death.

oh, really? first of all, how do you know that is true? and that the more likely, reasonable explanation is not rather michael's threats to divorce her if she gained weight?

Ah, but you're proving my point in a way - the American system still functions because firstly, you have the freedom to express your opposition to what it is doing, and secondly, you and the rest of the country, have the power to change it. "Terri's Law" should be the first step.

Terri's brother Bobby, sister Suzanne and Father Frank Pavone were told by Michael Schiavo to leave Terri's room ten minutes before she died. The Schindler family was denied access to Terri's beside in her final moments of life. -- Father Frank Pavone, at the Hospice Woodside
