Ah, but you're proving my point in a way - the American system still functions because firstly, you have the freedom to express your opposition to what it is doing, and secondly, you and the rest of the country, have the power to change it. "Terri's Law" should be the first step.
Regards, Ivan

#596..I respect and appreciate Diogenesis....very much.
But I agree with you, MadIvan....Our country has committed a huge wrong corporately by letting this happen...
..but it's only over for us if we give up.
We are mad now....and we are not giving up!
We will not roll over.
Perhaps, Diogenesis, in spite of the correct list of grievances you posted...
..this....this will be our watershed moment!....The one we cannot walk away from.
I pray this is true.

Terri's law was passed several times at the state and federal level.
Apparently the house of lords could review courts in the UK at the time of our revolution. Anti-Federalist 78-82 talks about this.
We need more checks on the judiciary. Jeb could have imposed 'executive review' (Like Andrew Jackson did)just like the courts made up the bogus extra constitutional 'judicial review' doctrine after the founding of our republic.
