After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
The demons howling in laughter on the FR threads disgust me the most. I can't and I won't understand it....
I agree.
Terri has valiantly and courageously held on all this time to give mere mortals the chance to behave decently.
She has been denied once again.
I just wish she and her family had not had to suffer so much to make this country wake up.
That's true. We thought it was all over the end of last week. And here are in the middle of this week with a couple surprise possibilities we hadn't thot possible.
That being said, however, I acknowledge that God may have a higher purpose that we don't understand, that may be best served by calling her Home.
Prayers for Terri and her family. As disappointing as this is for us, I can't imagine what they're going through. May the Lord grant them abundant grace.
Never will understand.
What is this about compassionate conservatism?
I hope I never hear another politician or another living soul use that phrase.
I am listening to him via radio and he said he was told that she took a turn for the worse last night. That is all he said.
CNN reported earlier that she has 12 hrs to live. They claim they got that from someone inside the hospice. Ok Hannity just said that her breathing is very labored now.
May God Bless her.
Hannity was on the radio with Jesse and they both seemed to say nothing will likely come out of Tallahassee. One bill was being talked about that would allow food and water by mouth if no directive given. The original feeding tube bill appears to be dead. Jesse could not change minds and the 9 "no" Republicans would not budge. The bill being talked about seems like just talk...my impression.
I can't either.
Jesse Jackson just arrived at the hospice.
They won't be laughing forever. But they will be suffering forever. If they're laughing, just remind them of the cross.
Thank you, nicmarlo!
Be not deceived, God is not mocked; for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7
For we know him who said, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay." And again, "The Lord will judge his people." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:30-31
Dr Jay Carpenter making a statement on Terri. Said it was irresponsible for media reporting that Terri cannot recover and saying it is too late. He said death by dehydration and starvation is not peaceful but horrible. He is appealing to the governor to do something now.
At this point, Truth, they may have already gone through the worst of their grieving. Holding them up in prayer.
God is God, no matter what happens. I know He has heard every prayer, seen every tear, and heard every petition. He is Lord...
If He takes her, it is because he has another purpose in this...and I accept that.
But I'm still praying that she'll be restored. God's own will be done.
He is quite eloquent. Although he is appealing to a vapid, emotionless and hypocritical power that has no principles or courage of convictions.
I pray he walks in there with a glass of water and either makes it in or gets Tazered and arrested. Either way he would come out looking like a hero and Terri's chances for life would increase dramatically.
amen Republic. God will NOT be mocked, by a nation whose very foundations were Rock SOLID on the Word of God!! Judgement and Darkness are headed BIG TIME our way.
Some idiot on Fox now saying Terri is not suffering at all.
We may have lost the battle, and in this battle, evil has won. But we have not lost the war, and if this battle has served any purpose at all, it has brought new warriors to the fight against evil. I believe that is God's purpose here.
I agree...and believe me, living in D.C., that coming judgment concerns me.
