Dr Jay Carpenter making a statement on Terri. Said it was irresponsible for media reporting that Terri cannot recover and saying it is too late. He said death by dehydration and starvation is not peaceful but horrible. He is appealing to the governor to do something now.

He is quite eloquent. Although he is appealing to a vapid, emotionless and hypocritical power that has no principles or courage of convictions.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that You are the Author and Finisher of our Faith. We know not when that finish will come, O God, yet we rest secure in the knowledge that thy will be done. In her time of trial, we have pled for the life of this mother's child ... in her times of sorrow, You have captured each tear that has fallen for this wounded woman ... in the moments of deepest despair, You have sent Your Ministering Angels to help carry the unbearable burdens. May Your Grace continue to fall mightily upon our beloved Terri, that she might yet rise from her deathbed. May Your Grace continue to fall upon her beloved family, that they might endure what lies before them.
