After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
I'm believing with you, Piper!

I would love to know the Destro story. Did he not want the appeal to the 11th? Was he banking on the legislature and now that's stalled? Do the Schindlers know what's happening, and if so, what did they want?
Liberals want disabled people dead, and want killers sent to death row saved as they believe the death penalty is cruel and unusual punishment. Makes no sense!
I haven't had much of a chance to read up on it today as I have been very busy at work preparing for my association's spring conference next week. However, what I understand is that the Schindlers petitioned the 11th cir. last night for an emergency hearing. The Schindlers argued that the federal district court in Tampa erred by reviewing only the record of the case from the state court rather than engaging in a true de novo review of the evidence. That's only my understanding of what's going on.
True, usually...but there seem to be liberals concerned about Terri, too (odd, huh?). JJ, for one.
It's sunny and warm here in DC for the first time in over a week. The weather is really buoying my spirits today.

Lord we pray that his final appeal be heard and that the judges see that Terri deserves the De Novo review in full and put her feeding tube back in asap! Please help them to make their decision today so Terri can get to the hospital and get the help she so desperately needs! We ask you for this miracle and still have faith in you. Terri has been so dissapointed through this process, please don't let her have any more God or her family! In your precious and Holy name we pray, AMEN!

True, but I think the liberals that care about this are the ones who know Christ as their Savior.
You may be right, freepertoo. But fact is we truly don't know how angry they are right now. My guess is that they're more frustrated than we are with the courts outrageously thumbing their noses at them. They've also been raised to show constraint, and I imagine they know full well that showing anger at the courts, while this whole thing is still in process in the courts, won't help Terri's case one bit.
I'm just asking that we allow the dust to settle before we start slapping the hands of those who have tried to help her.
And you're right, it's time to get back to discussing the facts about TERRI, and most of all, to PRAYING.

JJ wants to appeal to Michael personally, but cannot get through to him.
JJ couldn't convince Michael. I think Terri has even MORE reason now to implicate Michael than she had before if she recovers. Heaven knows what he's been doing to her in that hospital room.
