After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.
Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.
Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.
The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.
All I've heard is "this morning."
Pollywog, there is a Republican state senator in FL with the unlikely name of "Daniel Webster." He says he does not know of any votes in the state senate that have been changed since last Wednesday. He has been Terri's foremost Senate defender. He tried to run for the U.S. Senate in 2004, but he could get no support.

I'm not sure which court. But there is a chance. Please don't give up!
I just heard...Federal 11th Circuit Court of Appeals, in Alanta! To determine whether to reconnect the tube. And a review. The courts have erred on Terri's condition.
There is a possibility.
God says we are to trust Him! So let's just do it!

AMEN, freepertoo. To me, this is such a clear example of the battle of good versus evil. I really don't understand how others--even some in my own family--can't see it. I was horrified when I talked to my parents over the weekend and learned that they think Terri should be "allowed to die." They are horribly misinformed because they only pay attention to the MSM, but all of my efforts to inform them were to no avail. I just don't understand how my parents--good, church-going conservatives--could be taken in by the evil that is George Felos et al. Now I know that I must prepare my own living will and specify that my parents not be allowed to make decisions on my behalf. That gives me a real sick feeling.
We actually have been having some of our own mini battles in court with our daughter, so that is taking a lot of energy from me also.
One thing I am certain of as I start today, GOD IS IN CONTROL, GOD LOVES US, and LONGS TO SHOW US HIS POWER, and HE PROMISES PERFECT PEACE IF OUR MIND IS STAYED ON HIM......sorry but just had to shout that last line to the HEAVENS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the 11th Circuit Court, with all 12 judges hearing it this time.
I'm just logging on first thing this morning and haven't heard anything more yet. Can someone fill us in with what is happening currently?
All I know is today!
Terri could be relieved today!

You know, that's absolutely not true that Jeb Bush dragged his feet all along. How could he have prevented this whole horror story as you claim? You guys are placing way more power on him than the poor man has. I really feel for him ... he's worked harder for Terri than any of us, for many more years, and his "thanks" is a bunch of people saying very untrue and unkind things about him because he wouldn't defy a court order that he by law is required to obey, just as we all are.
If it weren't for Jeb Bush, after all, Terri would have been dead in 2003.
He expressed concern for what this is doing to the Schindlers. How bad he felt for the effect this battle is on them, then inserted as an afterthought - and for that matter Michael Schiavo.
I believe he meant the constant battle, the back and forth. He had never expressed sympathy with the POSITION OR THE ACTIONS OF MICHAEL, TO THE CONTRARY. He was so wasted when he was speaking there, I thought he would fall over.
I think he made a mistatement. He should not have said anything at all about Michael. But when I heard it, I KNEW people would think he cared for Michael and his position that Terri should be starved.
He should have just stayed home and been quiet, if he was not going to further challenge the rebel Greer and his lackey police force.

I cannot hold the thought in my head very long of the intense and inhumane brutality and cruelty of a mother NOT BEING ABLE to put a drop of water on her dtr's tongue.
The absolute, and I mean ABSOLUTE, horror of this reality is too hurtful to hold in my mind for more than a second.
And yet, EVERY SECOND, OF EVERY MINUTE that the schindler's are in that room, they are faced with this fact. With this IMPOTENCE to help their dtr....KNOWING that if one of them slips an ice chip upon Terri's cracked lips...they will be banned from being with their DTR. I AM OUTRAGED!
It is beyond comprehension.
Felos and michael and greer are beyond monsters..they are the stuff of hell, as I envision hell, anyway.
To be willing to put a family thru this takes a certain evilness of thought and practice that simply breaks our faith in our rule of law. We know michael schiavo is a sociopathic freak, a control jock, who probably REISHES the pain he visits upon the Schindlers...that he craves and sucks in every bit of pain he sees upon their faces. But judge greer was supposed to protect Terri, regardless of his drive to see her killed.
They know how Terri has suffered.
All of them. All of the main characters in this story know how abused Terri has been...thru all of these years...with certain players being the abusers and others fighting to expose and prevent more abuse.
Just knowing the bone scan done 53 weeks after Terri's collapse, and the refusal of judge greer to hold a hearing on it (pdf file of his denial in my post above)...have to go to that web address given to read his sick denial of allowing the schindlers to 'DISCOVER' WHO or HOW Terri had received so many massive broken bones.....IS BEYOND BELIEF!

Have you guys ever WONDERED if the POLICE PAT DOWN and SEARCH michael schiavo and george felos and michael's friends (the ones he has been taking in to taunt and gawk at terri as she lays dying)
Do these FREAKS have to be strip searched like mary and bob schindler and bobby and the priest and suzanne do????
Or is it ONLY the people who want to SAVE TERRI that are searched and monitored?
I think, Joanna, that one of the senators that voted against the bill last time has to request that it be brought to the floor today, in order for it to be voted on.
So we can be praying that the Lord turns the hearts of enough senators to pass it, and at least ONE senator to bring it to the floor.

I see there is a still a slight chance again with the 11th Circuit Court. Happened overnight (just read through all the overnight posts).
