Part 7 - EASTER SUNDAY -NO FOOD OR WATER 10-11TH DAYS- SHE'S FIGHTING TO LIVE [Schiavo]

After much hard work that has gone on for well over a year, it's been a week and 2 days since Terri has been without food and hydration.

Many asking the question how we could have become such a callous society as to deny a helpless human the basic necessity of food and water.

Terri's plight has brought to light many problems in the judicial system and opened our eyes to the fact that some laws need to be changed.

The work will continue to protect helpless individuals from suffering the same injustice as Terri.

True, it isn't Bush bashing, it is stating the truth about them. I love Sean, I jusy hope he realizes what this is all about.

Today Terri's dad said that Terri isn't giving up on us and we should not give up on her.

RightMarch.com hasn't given up. Here's party of today's "Take Action" from RightMarch:

Message sent to the following recipients:
Representatives DeLay; Hastert
Message text follows:

March 28, 2005

[recipient address was inserted here]

Dear [recipient name was inserted here],

I'm writing to ask you to enforce the Congressional subpoenas you issued
to Terri Schiavo, and to hold Florida Probate Judge George Greer in
contempt for deliberately IGNORING Terri Schiavo's subpoena.

In connection with this action, please order the re-insertion of Terri
Schiavo's feeding tube, and save her from being starved to death.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Even if they do the right thing for the wrong reason (politics), it might help to save lives.

I understand and appreciate your argument.

But, the GOP has done the wrong thing for the wrong reason... ducked and covered because of the polls. This is not leadership. This is cynical, self-serving preservation in the face of an obvious evil. There may be something wrong at the core of our culture, and it may be the case that there is NOBODY who can live up to the courage of their convictions anymore. But, I now KNOW for a fact that the GOP cannot.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that we can place this injured family in Your loving care. Give the greatest wisdom to the medical team as they minister to each one. May their injuries be non life-threatening, O God, and such that they will not suffer any lasting effects. Protect this unborn child, the children, and their beloved mother. Provide a way that Saved and her husband can know their conditions, and may they soon learn that all is well. In the Name of Jesus, we pray, Amen ...

May I point out that neither Bush will be on a ballot in the next elections? We can still get someone better into elected offices.

Also, remember that as many Republican federal judges voted against Terri as did Democrat judges. All the Reagan and both Bush appointees voted against her: refused to give her the de novo hearing. So the nuclear option in the long run may not mean that much either though I would favor it at this time. I don't thik Dr. Frist has the courage to force it through the Senate.

IMO the reason Jeb Bush wont appoint a special prosecutor or empanel a grand jury is because the corruption goes all the way to the top----and into his office

I think "stance" might not be the right word. "Posture" is better.

You know, everyone who turns on the Republicans is going to ensure the election of Hillary, who would like to euthanize everyone who isn't a productive member of society.

Why do you hold out to ridicule pleasenomore?

And not the person who incites and rudely calls others "lunatics."
