Jesus awaits Terri Schiavo at the gates of heaven with open arms.

My God is a loving God and Christians should not fear death. Let Terri go bump.

Let Judge Greer go home. The devil's waiting.

Is it true that they are not going to allow even the Last Rites of the Catholic Church to be given her?

I agree with you.. I think this proves that we need to reign in these judges who think that they have all of the power.. Let her die in peace and we need to calm down. Don't blame GW and Jeb.

I agree with you. I'm getting very unnerved by the discussion of Jeb being a traitor,etc.etc. when there's only so much he can do. I think people are now very desperate. As I said to another freeper yesterday, I'm not desperate. I refuse to entertain such thoughts because there's nothing that I can do. All the legal options have been exhausted. I hope God takes Terri home. Good essay Mike.

This is a land of laws, not men.

Congress passed a law that the Schiavo case had to be heard de nuevo. But a man named Greer decided to ignore that.

Funny, but none of the people arguing this seem too eager to meet Jesus in heaven themselves.

Agreed. Sadly, I have also come to this conclusion these past couple of days. We all know she will be in a better place.

Talk show host Neil Boortz has taken the stance that Terri Schiavo has earned her place in heaven, and that we, as a people, should let her go home.

I want to know when Boortz suddenly decided that religious beliefs are a sound basis for public policy.

A myriad of doctors, most of whom have indicated that much of her brain tissue has deteriorated and possibly even liquified inside her skull.

Much is made of this point particularly as it relates to pain sensation.
I remember either reading or seeing on TV a few years ago about a person that due to illness or accident had a large portion of their brain liquefy. The doctors were amazed that in spite of this they were living almost a normal life as other undamaged portions of the brain had assumed the activities normally carried out by the damaged part.
I am not suggesting that Terri can recover but only that we cannot be sure as to what sensation she may be experiencing or how cognizant she may be yet unable to express.

I think that the time for saving Terri Schiavo's life has probably passed and the Lord will welcome her to Paradise. That being said, punishment needs to be meted out to the parasites who fought for the opportunity to kill her.

Thank you. The thing that we nust do is obey the law, or work like hell to change the law. We cannot take the law in our own hands. Of course The Clinton's had no problem with this, and this forum went balistic at them. The thing to do now is pray through Good Friday and celebrate Easter because that is where all of humanities hope rests. God BlessYou Denco

She wasn't "going home" until they removed her food and hydration. She was a physically healthy woman. Sure, she has a brain injury. That she is PVS is debatable and that is reason enough to at least give her an MRI or test her with other NEW technology. Let her "go home" when her time comes. Don't force to go by removing her food and water.
