After reading the thread pinged above, I think it was more than a smarta$$ remark. Maybe they do consider themselves a law unto themselves in Pinellas county.

What can I say, they have their job to do. Cops don't usually deal with the cream of the crop.

I don't like the idea of them handcuffing children, but if the kids trespassed - and knew they were trespassing, then the law is the law. The parents are at fault for encouraging them, allowing it.
