Clearwater, Florida - Judge George Greer admits there was an error in fact in the 2000 trial that established Terri Schiavo;s "right to die." When a family friend claimed a 19-year-old Terri was upset that right to die icon Karen Ann Quinlan's parents removed her from life support, the Judge discounted the testimony, reportedly because the Judge said Quinlan died in 1976.
Quinlan was taken off life support in 1976, but died in 1985. A technical error, yes. But Wednesday afternoon, Judge Greer ruled it was not enough to affect the outcome of the 2000 lawsuit that held Terri would not want to be kept alive with severe brain damage.

In the cases of Paul Brophy, Nancy Jobes, Nancy Cruzan, and Christine Busalucci, Cranford was the doctor behind the efforts to end their lives. Each of these people was brain-damaged but not dying; nonetheless, he advocated death for all, by dehydration and starvation. Nancy Cruzan did not even require a feeding tube: She could be spoon-fed. But Cranford advocated denying even that, saying that even spoon-feeding constituted medical treatment that could be licitly withdrawn A am going to be sick!

There seem to be careless lawyering going on in court all over!
I think the Schindlers should check to see if their Lawyer is a product of one of these University that has an Ethic Center if they do those folks believe in Euthanasia!

IIRC the House of Reps has presented a "Friend of the Court" Brief to the USSC. Hopefully, it will have some effect - but everybody on FOX was saying there was no chance the USSC would take this case. [sigh ..]
I don't know what to think - I have this sick feeling in my gut for days - and I can't seem to shake it.

IIRC the courts that have been "reviewing" this case have not been looking at the "facts" of the case [as they were requested to do by Congress] - they have instead been looking only at the "process" - and the courts all seem to think there was no problem with the process of the case - SO THE FACTS JUST BE DAMNED.

I also am aware that in sworn affidavits by attending nurses Michael would say over and over again:
"I don't know what she wants, I don't know what she wants...".

Her friend made a joke when Quinlan died some 9 years later and Terri did not like the joke or the fact that Quinlan's parents had disconnected her respirator years before. Well then you have it wrong too. Terri wasn't 19 when Quinlan died.

What scared me today was to find out Larry Klayman was with the parent's attorney.
She's doomed.

The story circulating is that she had broken bones when hospitalized initially. There are too many questions surrounding this case and an inquest is definitely called for.
I'm willing to bet the family plantation that her dutiful hubby calls for immediate cremation when she dies.

Actually the bone scan is dated 8 days after her admittance, so there's a window when she was in the hospital where something could have happened to cause those injuries.

I have registered your vote for Michael as the most hated man in America.
Scott Petersen has no children (I know, he killed his son). Just what are Michael's children going to think about their father (and their mother)? They may be terrified that they might develop a serious condition.

Agreed. I'll bet Terry's body will still be warm when she's thrown into the cremation chamber.
Hell is a place of untold pain and horror, Michael. You're time will come eventually, and when it does, you will bitterly regret your decision to kill this innocent woman.

I'm haunted by the thought that the the dutiful hubby may have
brought off murder by judiciary. If Scott Peterson had showed this creativeness, he'd be into his third fiancee!!!!!!!!!!

Said the same thing about my Dad and that goes for me as well if it were my daughter. I wouldn't be on TV, I would probably be in jail, but I darn sure wouldn't have Randall Terry being the family spokesman. That man gives me the creeps!
Not to mention, I would have made a plea for new legal help that understood federal law and pleadings in federal court. As a matter of fact, the lawyers for the family are just flat out incompetent to go along with everything else. They take too much time, prepare louzy pleadings, but are all over the TV.
Terri is not being represented well at all IMHO. But yet some on here blame Republicans and Bush Family for not doing enough but they have to follow the Law no matter how much many of us would like that law to err on the side of Life.

I have no idea and you could be right! IMHO Felos and Greer are hiding much more than this case the way they are fighting everything -- this isn't only about ego, there is something sinister to this whole deal and Terri is stuck with a bunch of incompetents to defend her. Sickening!
