Once the De Novo trial is (if) approved will he will be the judge for it?
This would be no Greer...it would be tried in the Fed Dist Court...plus carries with it appeal power...it would take a while...and the main thing is she woudl have a jury decide, not a judge.
Amen. United we stand, divided we fall. Now, I've got to get some shut eye. Goodnight!
Regardless of what the outcome.
All our prayers are a Glory to God and he knows our hearts the love and pain we are all suffering.
Since we're so close to 5,000 posts, and I must end this day, I'll be putting up the new thread. I'll post the new link when it's up.

"I firmly believe that God helps those who help themselves. "
Hate to break this to you honey, but that is NOT in the Bible.. nowhere.. just like separation of church and state is NOT in the constitution....
In the Bible, God tells us to pray without ceasing.. and I for one, am going to obey him.. now scat you little faker.
>> She lived till the age of 88, unheard of for early polio victims
You must have had something to do with that. Love goes a very long way.
Osmolite in a 1000 ml feeding bag and an IV for hydration.
This really is on topic.
When I was in high school in 1992, we had a federal district court judge preside over a mock trial. I was representing a fictitious woman who (get this) was in a coma whose guardian wished to remove her feeding tube. I argued the case from the standpoint as that there was no living will or advanced directive on file, we could have no idea, beyond hearsay, what the person would have wanted, and since the state was in the business of protecting the disabled (ADA), then it seemed just and proper to continue treatment.
I won. Hope my judge gets this case.
Nite! Sweet dreams!
"It will take time because of the case law reseach etc...."
That is exactly why I've been optimistic tonight, ie the delay.
You must be a lawyer. How do you take this delay? Do you think judge Whittemore is trying to run down the clock, or should we prepare ourselves for a BIG surprise?
Whatever works is good! Definitely keep praying! It's our best defense!
Good night, Bernie's Gramma ha :)
(It's a joke, please don't anyone write me and tell me I messed up Gramma's name.)
G'nite you!!!
TERRI SCHIAVO DAILY MARCH 2005 PART 6- NO FOOD OR WATER IN THE 6TH-7TH DAYS - GOOD FRIDAY
"It is my belief that it is up to us to save Terri by our own actions"
No, we like to think we're that important, but in reality, according to God, Terri "lives and moves and has her being" because of only God. He gets all the glory because Terri is His child. God has the infinite power and ability and wisdom.
We can be instruments used by Him, but we can be that with every single person in our lives. He wants us to love all, because He has loved us. That includes Terri, but it is done in humility that it really is HE Who is doing the work. If we believe in Christ, He lives inside us, giving us the strength and ability to serve. Prayer is service.
God wants to involve us because He likes blessing us and rewarding us for our actions. He uses us as instruments. We WILL act, when we experience His forgiveness, because we want to share that love with others. But it is HE who does the saving of Terri!
God I hope your right.
Good night, Gramma.
