Once the De Novo trial is (if) approved will he will be the judge for it?

This would be no Greer...it would be tried in the Fed Dist Court...plus carries with it appeal power...it would take a while...and the main thing is she woudl have a jury decide, not a judge.

This really is on topic.

When I was in high school in 1992, we had a federal district court judge preside over a mock trial. I was representing a fictitious woman who (get this) was in a coma whose guardian wished to remove her feeding tube. I argued the case from the standpoint as that there was no living will or advanced directive on file, we could have no idea, beyond hearsay, what the person would have wanted, and since the state was in the business of protecting the disabled (ADA), then it seemed just and proper to continue treatment.

I won. Hope my judge gets this case.
