HE LIVES, ALL GLORY TO HIS NAME!
He lives, my Jesus, still the same.
Oh the sweet joy this sentence gives,
"I KNOW THAT MY REDEEMER LIVES!"
Psalm 94:16-19: Who will protect me from the wicked? Who will stand up for me against evildoers? Unless the Lord had helped me, I would soon have died. I cried out, "I'm slipping!" and your unfailing ove, O Lord, supported me.
Phil,
Thank you for your call to Jeb's office.
You are so great here. I am priviledged to know you and all other FREepers.
God Bless Jim Robinson and family for connecting all of us together.
Please reconcile your hearts to God. He will take the pain we have for Terri and have us singing!
Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord. He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored.
OHhhhhhh Faith, where do you live, in the woodsy area?? I wish for the country.
I love that Hymn, too; and I'm loving reading all these wonderful Hymns....so many of them...
Just about mine, too...I remember back when I was a girl with a better voice, how it felt to make those notes soar as I was lifing it up in praise!...someday, again perhaps in Heaven...
Amen.
O for a thousand tongues to sing
My great Redeemers praise,
The glories of my God and King,
The triumphs of His grace!
My gracious Master and my God,
Assist me to proclaim,
To spread through all the earth abroad
The honors of Thy name.
Jesus! the name that charms our fears,
That bids our sorrows cease;
Tis music in the sinners ears,
Tis life, and health, and peace.
He breaks the power of canceled sin,
He sets the prisoner free;
His blood can make the foulest clean,
His blood availed for me.
He speaks, and, listening to His voice,
New life the dead receive,
The mournful, broken hearts rejoice,
The humble poor believe.
Hear Him, ye deaf; Him praise, ye dumb,
Your loosened tongues employ;
Ye blind, behold your Savior come,
And leap, ye lame, for joy.
In Christ your Head, you then shall know,
Shall feel your sins forgiven;
Anticipate your heaven below,
And own that love is heaven.
Glory to God, and praise and love
Be ever, ever given,
By saints below and saints above,
The church in earth and heaven.
But I, (Jesus) came, that you might have life, and that, more abundantly."
You are right. We will be stronger and more faithful.
Glory Glory HALLELUEH
GLory GLORY "
Glory Glory "
HIs TRUTH IS MARCHING ON.......
ok.....someone give me the correct spelling of hallelueh!
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee;
Let the water and the blood,
From Thy wounded side which flowed,
Be of sin the double cure;
Save from wrath and make me pure.
Not the labor of my hands
Can fulfill Thy laws demands;
Could my zeal no respite know,
Could my tears forever flow,
All for sin could not atone;
Thou must save, and Thou alone.
Nothing in my hand I bring,
Simply to the cross I cling;
Naked, come to Thee for dress;
Helpless look to Thee for grace;
Foul, I to the fountain fly;
Wash me, Savior, or I die.
While I draw this fleeting breath,
When mine eyes shall close in death,
See Thee on Thy judgment throne,
Rock of Ages, cleft for me,
Let me hide myself in Thee.
that was wonderful!
I am also feeling that sense of peace that all is ok. Yes, I am angry, and hurt. I feel let down, but I do know that everything will be ok in the end. God has Terri now and He hasn't let her go!
He breaks the power of canceled sin,
He sets the prisoner free;
His blood can make the foulest clean,
His blood availed for me.
That is so wonderful, isn't it?
Psalm 141:1-2: O Lord, I am calling to you. Please hurry! Listen when I cry to you for help! Accept my prayer as incense offered to you, and my upraised hands as an evening offering.
He speaks, and, listening to His voice,
New life the dead receive,
The mournful, broken hearts rejoice,
The humble poor believe.
Hear Him, ye deaf; Him praise, ye dumb,
Your loosened tongues employ;
Ye blind, behold your Savior come,
And leap, ye lame, for joy.
Amen!
