Day 5 going into Day 6 of no food or water for Terri.

Florida DCF files petition for intervention:

I don't want to be contrary, but I don't think that any of this is God's decision. These are decisions made by sinful men without the input of God. God is a mere bystander here, as the public has wanted him to be for long now. Remember Reagan said that liberals want "freedom from religion," not "freedom of religion."
I just e-mailed your post to the Gov. Bush. I did thank him yesterday, though.
Maybe I should print what you said and fax it.
We went to Iraq to save the oppressed. I just don't get it?
Terri's parents and siblings want to take care of her. This makes no sense to me.
CNN says the request was denied.
Furthermore, if the governor does not stand up to this clear extension of judicial powers he will fail in his duty as the executive branch of Florida government. This situation is beyond a legal disagreement.
Did I just hear Rush say that Gov. Bush is awaiting word from Judge Greer for PERMISSION to take Terri into custody??
The president can write an executive order to get Terri into a hospital immediately. It is not breaking any law to do so. This action would not interfere with the judge. And since Greer already flaunted a Congressional subpoena his ruling is highly questionable.
Executive orders are lawful. They've been written by presidents ever since Washington on a number of different issues. http://www.heritage.org/Research/LegalIssues/LM2.cfm
Contacting the president and ask him to write an executive order immediately. Also, contact Gov. Jeb Bush asking him to take Terri into protective custody see contact info below:

"I'm not sure we can get it done here in Florida," Martinez quoted (Gov.) Bush as saying just after a new Schiavo measure stalled in the Florida Legislature. "Do whatever you can federally."
This is the Governor of Florida calling for help. Any notion that the Feds have no Constitutional business there is malarky.
Call DCF and tell them to put Terri in protective custody.

850-488-2381
I could not get through to Governor Jeb Bush's #, so I called 1-850-488-5000 (Governor's Legislative Affairs Office) and said that Governor Bush has to put Terri in protective custody NOW. They said they agreed with me, and are working on it. I told them they better hurry up; this woman is going to die.
Please call the # (1-850-488-5000), AND Governor Jeb Bush, if you can get through, or send a FAX, and tell them to please expedite, a woman is dying. Pro-death Judge Greer ordered police throughout the state not to intervene. Bully!!
We have THREE judicial branches, and they are all equal; they should not let only ONE branch rule.
Here's an e-mail I justed received from RightMarch.com, and if anyone has a fax, that might be an easier way to get through to the Bushes. Fax # listed below. If you can't get through by phone, a fax is better than and e-mail, because papers will pile up.
So here's my info from RightMarch.com:
"This is OUTRAGEOUS. Governor Bush needs to step up to
the plate NOW, and exercise his constitutional and legal
authority NOW, before Terri dies. But he doesn't seem
to be willing to take that chance and do it... so we
thought we should help encourage him.
So once more, we need YOUR help.
We need EVERYONE READING THIS EMAIL to call Governor
Jeb Bush RIGHT AWAY, and ask him to do one simple thing:
"PLEASE EXERCISE YOUR LEGAL AUTHORITY, AND TAKE
TERRI SCHIAVO INTO PROTECTIVE CUSTODY RIGHT AWAY."
That's all we're asking you to do. Just call Gov. Bush
NOW and beg him to save Terri's life.
TAKE ACTION: PLEASE call Governor Jeb Bush's office NOW
at 850-488-4441 (or fax him at 850-487-0801), asking him
to exercise the executive powers he ALREADY HAS, and take
custody of Terri Schiavo to save her from being starved
to death.
We've already met one-on-one with Gov. Bush's General Counsel
lawyers, showing them point-by-point exactly why the Governor
DOES have those powers right NOW. On Thursday, we're also
bringing in Alan Keyes and Larry Klayman to try to meet with
the Governor and urge him to take Terri into protective
custody. Call Gov. Bush NOW and ask him to USE his legal
powers to save Terri's life. You can also e-mail him at
jeb@myflorida.com .
You can also call his brother, President George W. Bush, at
202-456-1414 (or fax him at 202-456-2461). Leave a message
for him that he AND his brother both have the authority to
use the police services at their disposal to take Terri into
protective custody, restore her food and hydration, and
arrest anyone who would interfere. You can also e-mail him
at president@whitehouse.gov .
For the sake of Terri's life, we CANNOT afford to wait while
the courts bicker over jurisdiction -- and we CANNOT let
little two-bit judges order the Executive branch to not do
their duty."
Sadly, Lincoln and Reagan are gone.
He's waiting....he asked Greer, please give me custody. Greer is probably at lunch and will get back to Jeb when he can.
Praise God for people who can love with their whole hearts, unconditionally. It is a gift-it just may not seem like it is on a day like today.
With ups there are sometimes downs.
"Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]."
You quoted a mouthful.. if that isn't the essence of our fight, I dunno what is....
Well, Jeb must not think his office has any real power at all.
AN OPEN LETTER TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:
QUESTION PLEASE:
IS IT WRONG TO FIGHT FOR LIFE AND THE MAINTENANCE OF THE VALUES AND PRINCIPLES OF OUR CONSTITUTION?
IT IS WRONG TO FREELY EXPRESS YOUR BELIEFS AND OPINIONS?
IS IT WRONG TO FOLLOW THE PATH WHICH YOUR CREATOR SHOWS YOU TO BE THE EFFECTIVE PATH?
IS IT WRONG TO SPEAK FREELY?
IS IT WRONG TO SAY THAT WHICH IS OBVIOUS AND DOCUMENTED FACT?
IS IT WRONG TO BE AN AMERICAN HERO WHO SERVED IN VIETNAM, IRAQ, IWO JIMA, ETC.?
IS IT WRONG TO BE AN AMERICAN WHO IS WILLING TO LEGALLY FIGHT IN FLORIDA TO PRESERVE LIFE
AND AMERICAS VALUES???
PLEASE ANSWER, SO THAT I KNOW THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENTS POSITION! AS I HAVE BEEN VERBALLY ACCUSED
OF BEING WRONG IN DOING SO; AND IF I AM WRONG
I WILL START PROCESSING MY CHANGE OF CITIZENSHIP INTO
LIBYA OR SYRIA
WHERE THE SAME WRONG APPLIES HOWEVER, IT IS UPFRONT AND HONEST!!!
THANK YOU, WITH ALL DUE RESPECT:::
F. Gregg Meagher
Citizen of the United States of America and Highly Decorated Combat Veteran.
"President/King Greer" will have to face the wrath of God one day... may it be filled with MISERY AND PAIN, as he is putting Terri through...
God Help us all, and God Bless our dear Terri...
Jeb Bush has done a lot, but right now he appears very, very weak as the executive branch of state government in his subservience to the judicial branch.
Requested from whom? He's the Governor. He should "order" not "request".
I just can't figure out what power Jeb thinks Greer has over him.
The fax of my email went to the President fax fine. The one to Governor Bush timed out, so I'm trying again (hopefully it's getting bombarded).
btw - I use www.fax1.com - it's 10 cents per successful page sent - great service - can fax from word or email program, as well as other options - no monthly or anual charges
They're still trying to get it through to the Gov - I think he's getting hit hard
