Maybe the State Police have told Jeb they will refuse to obey orders from him. So he's reluctant to give orders. That's the only possible excuse I can find, for his lack of initiative.

you are right. I read the law. If they take her tommor after midnight, they have a day for a hearing and that day is Monday.

If they think the guardian, Judge Greer now as I understand, is part of the abuse, they don't have to get his permission.

The Judge is under incredible stress now, can you imagine. He may be high on power but unless he is insane, he knows the forces opposite him.

I believe it was Robert Melton, auditor in Pinellas Park, who stated there's a problem with guardian's losing monies that they're supposed to be protecting.

Seems that money is put in a trust, then slowly disappears. The trust is set up so you can't follow the money. I suspect at some point Mr. Melton will be removed and replaced by someone less honest.

The Dr.'s finding (he is a consultant for DCF and brought in by them) that she is PVS has been presented to Judge Greer, which he has refused to accept. The State cannot execute a woman who is NOT PVS ... therefore, some action has to be taken. Remember, President Bush said in his Texas presser that he wanted to see ALL of Terri's medical records examined.
