Huh? WTF? Oh yeah. It's San Fran.

"all soccer players will be barred from saying a single word to their opponents, opposing coaches or officials upon the conclusion of every soccer game,'' "

looks like the middle finger is still a viable option.

When you outlaw handshakes, only outlaws will handshake. (sorry, someone always does it so i figured why not :) )

S.F. girls soccer team run-ins prompt ban on post-match high fives

Can they still do the 2-4-6-8 who do we appreciate... chant, or is that intolerant of kids who can't count???

This is not the only city that this is banned. It is an issue several other places as well. It is unfortunate.

Even in SF, the efforts continue to surpress the black spirit!

These must be Republican league bosses; aren't the Republicans the ones who prevent communications?

"The whole purpose of soccer or sports is to have these kids learn to control their tempers under adversity, and we're going to cut that out?'' said veteran league referee Jan Leja. "What's the use of having sports?''

This ref has it right, as the above post indicates, if bad sportmanship is happening, cancel the games and the season until the teams and coaches can teach the right way to play sport. And the right way includes good sportsmanship after the game. Man I hate what the lef wing is doing in the SF Bay Area.

Absolutely NO sports in schools! Some children will feel inadequate and suffer from low self-esteem.

How ridiculous.

After each football game, we as coaches and players met in the middle of the field in a sportsmanship gesture.

It's a tradition.
