Can someone claim that they would want to live like Terri is now?
I haven't seen any unbiased evidence or clinical opinion of the nature of Terri's life. Until I do, I can't form an opinion. As a taxpayer currently funding her care (she's on public assistance), I feel I'm due that.

Why is she on public assistance? She is half owner of a really nice house, expensive cars and has money.

No, but if God forbid she dies of this ordeal---she would have died in a way more meaningful than most. Some of us would like to die for a higher purpose, as opposed to a stupid stunt or an accident. It's better to live, just live, in peace and obscurity, not to become a symbol, a martyr, a cause celebre. But that's not a bad way to die---when you HAVE to.

She's probably on Medicaid. She's not old enough for Medicare.
For crying out loud, I do NOT feel that I should be privy to the care of anyone on Medicaid or Medicare.
Good grief!
I don't mind subsidizing people who need it. Her hubby should also be kicking some money in there from the malpractice lawsuit PLUS his own insurance policy since he claims Terri is LEGALLY his wife and she is his LEGAL Guardian. Ya can't have it both ways for convenience.
