Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.

If Terri is saved because of a state criminal investigation, then it looks like the Empire Journal -- which seems to have broken a lot of dynamite stories about alleged corruption in the county -- will be able to claim a large share of the credit.

Sean quoted Cranford's statements to him. Cranford got flustered and said he remembered making a statement like the one above. Cranford claims that Terri's brain waves are flat. How does someone with a flat line smile and laugh at her family?

Sean just reran that interview on his radio show. Thought it was interesting that the doc said she followed balloon for several seconds then stopped. Probably got too far away for her to see without glasses.

Either Jeb orders the DCF to take custody or the US Supreme Court steps up. Based on previous lower court ruling and the current state of the USSC, don't look for the latter to happen.

That decision could be the very thing that causes her to turn to the Lord. I pray He will use it to convict her of sin and of righteousness so that she will seek Him with all her heart and find Life in Jesus Christ, the forgiveness of our sins.

Heavenly Father, we return to thank You that You are Sovereign, and that Your ways are not ours. We know not what the rejection of this lifesaving Bill means in the coming days, but we know that those who have authority, have chosen not to step in to save this mother's child. Forgive them, Father, for they know now what they do. We continue to pray for those who have wished the life of this wounded woman, that they would repent ... and if they do not repent, that they would relent ... and if they do not relent, may they be swept from the scene, never to return to harm another. Grant wisdom to those who continue every effort to return Terri from the brink of death ... grant them success, O God, for the sake of this innocent woman and her beloved family.
