Tonight it is, March 22, 2005, over five days since Theresa Marie Schiavo commenced her ordeal of purposeful and legally sanctioned dehydration and starvation. We await a decision from the three judge panel from Eleventh Judicial Circuit as to her fate, as her family struggles with seeing Terri's physical health deteriorate.
Jeez. This woman senator speaking now... she's "afraid"... it's all about her.
Sad sad sad .. that murders have more rights then a handicapped women
The courts even said the terrorists have should be allowed to be respreseted by an attorney
Something Terry has been denied
Terri has also received death threats.
As a mother she says she "feels" for Terri's parents. But still stands in opposition because of the law.
Those kids are role models for other kids.

I think a lot of those liberal seniors are at the end of their lives anyway and don't care if they die.. that's probably why they moved there.. """
First of all, that stinking AARP, is on the side of killing Terri. I hope if anyone on this board, is a member of that Left leaning organization, they will get out of it immediately.
Second, Those Seniors WILL CARE, when they are STARVED TO DEATH in the State of Florida.
"We must survive by the law. I don't appreciate what you're doing to me. We're talking about the sanctity of life and I want to live for my family and my children and I don't appreciate it." Sanctity of life? She's voting for DEATH!
Half of the senators present want to continue the debate. May take considerable time.
God will remember each and every one of these people. God save them and help them. Give them your mercy in due time...but don't let them get away with murder now! In Jesus' name!
sen Wilson -- "I'm a product of the civil rights movement many were killed or maimed for voicing their opinions. I'm the kind of person, I'm not afraid of many things, but I am afraid of receiving death threats -- at 2 am, 3am, 4 am, becuase I voted agasint an amendment, ...
I was sent here to represent my people -- I've reported (these threats) to the FBI -- I am afraid. I'm asking those who have gone through the process of calling my office, I'm asking you to stop. I have 3 cn. I can understand what the famly f terr schiavo is giong by. but we have a law, and we are claled to stand by it.
NO SEN, you are called to make a correction to a current bad law.
When Sen. Webster said that he doesn't think this will pass in the house, isn't he basically asking that this will just go through now for terri's sake and these people do not have to worry about it becoming law?
That is how I am taking it, none of this makes sense to me, I was under the impression that this was all together and a vote was all that was needed.
Geez...
I've been threatened... I've got comments... Even though I vote for death doesn't mean I'm any less of a Christian
"It's for your protection and ours"
That's what I thought.
I wish the biggest gator could run into Jim King :o)
Yeah. I heard that too. A "Christian" that wants to starve someone to death.
""" More of the symbolism in names of people surrounding this case.""""
Wampus, you're exactly right. Lots of symbolism going on in this case. I've cried more in the past few weeks, than I have in my entire life.
