Excuse me if I'm wrong, but like it or not, Michael is the husband, and there is a legal precedence as to the utterance between a huband and wife. He may have broken his vows according to the church but that is a matter for the church.

But what if HINO wasn't listening another time Terri expressed her wishes to live, perhaps while he was visiting with her in the hospice behind locked doors!

I thought the civil government, not the church, issued the marriage license.
Maybe things are different in Pennsylvania

(Why is Michael Schiavo trying to "end the misery" of a woman he says can't think or feel?)

and there is a legal precedence as to the utterance between a huband and wife.and there is a legal precedence against murdering your wife because she's inconvenient, even if she says KILL ME.

Follow your own argument please, you are the one raising the sanctity of marriage which is a religious concept.
Second, there is no such thing as a legal precedence as to the utterance between a husband and wife.
Hearsay evidence is not admissible in court as a
rule unless it falls within one of the exceptions.
By the way,one of the exception is a statement against interest, which is exactly the opposite of the statement that Schiavo made. His statement was completely in his interest.

I will state again the words of Rushmore...
SHCIAVO'S HUSBAND'S RIGHTS DO NOT SUPERCEDE TERRI'S RIGHTS AS A HUMAN BEING!!!!!!!
