"When Is That Bitch Gonna Die?" - Micheal Schiavo
BlueStarBase.org ^ | 3-21-2005 | Barbara Stanley

Posted on 03/21/2005 7:50:03 AM PST by Pendragon_6

Lets see, first Michael Schiavo beats and strangles his wife Terri, leaves her lying unconscious on the floor until her family arrives to get her to the hospital.

Then Michael Schiavo sues the hospital for $20 million because he needs the money to get his poor wife therapy.

Then Michael Schiavo pockets the money, denies his wife the care he said she needed and finally, claims she really wants to die.

Michael Schiavo killed his wife Terri's cat, melted down her wedding ring and then took up with his girlfriend and lives with her today with their children. Does this sound like a loving husband who really cares about his wife's wishes?

And what do we get on the tube every hour on the hour: “persistent vegetative state” as though any of the talking heads who ghoulishly proclaim Terri's life isn't worth that of a convicted serial killer sitting on death row (for 20 years, while due process goes on).

Michael Schiavo's supporters claim he loved his wife Terri enough to take a nursing degree so that he could take care of her. I think he got that nursing degree so he could inject her with insulin and hasten her death and his complete claim to all the money he won in litigation.

Just take a gander at the sworn testimony of an attending nurse: Carla Sauer Iyer (affidavit* below) but let me save you some time and report a quote of Michael Schiavo's after visiting his still living wife: "When is that bitch gonna die?"

Hmmm. Loving husband or man so afraid of not only not getting the money (what's left of the $20 million) but the prospect of facing a jury for his attempted murder, a charge which is possible as long as Terri lives. Sounds like motive to me.

Michael Schiavo says Terri said she never wanted to be kept alive on machines. Okay. Even if that was her statement (which there is absolutely no corroborating testimony and quite the unusual statement coming from a young, newly married woman still in her twenties and full of life); Terri is not being kept alive by machines!

Terri has a feeding tube from which she gets food and water. Had she had the care and therapy she was entitled to, there is every chance today Terri would be divorced from that louse and feeding herself just fine.

About that “loving husband” crapola: what husband do you know evinces his marital fidelity and love by living with another woman, having children with that woman and dumps his wife in a hospice while waiting for her to die? What loving husband kills his sick wife's pet? What loving husband denies his wife's family visitation?

I ask these questions because the media morons are still stuck with their new term: “persistent vegetative state” and are oblivious to the actual facts of this tragic case.

She is NOT his wife under STATE LAW!

She is his wife and he is a bigamist.

Whatever.

I know, the law, like gravity, can be a real b*tch sometimes but there it is.

BTW, both the wife and I have living wills. We prefer dignity and a quality of life vice lying in our own pee and crap until the nurse can get there.

It's easy to see why YOUR wife needs a living will IN WRITING

The thing here is that this case is not about your opinion or mine. It's simply about Terri's constitutional rights to have the case heard in Federal Court with ALL evidence included. All efforts toward that had failed until Congress acted.

He is not a bigamist. He is not married to this woman. At the very least he is committing adultry. People do everyday in this country. Big deal.

Like nobody ever goes one mph over the speed limit. The law gets a lot of respect in America.

You focus upon an interesting point. How about considering the following: Terri received therapy and was visibly improving prior to the court awarding more than a million for HER REHABILITATION, but Michael Schiavo stopped ALL therapy as soon as the money was awarded, then seven years later claims she expressed a wish to not be kept alive on machines (and she's not on machines, as you no doubt know), yet there is sworn testimony that he said just the opposite to a private citizen when asked about his assertion; Terri's once husband has spent nearly all the monies on lawyers hired to get the court in Florida to put her down (specifically the Greer court, with a judge who is the close business and personal associate of the lawyer hired --they are invested in the Hospice program Terri was placed in when Michael swanted her to die).

I understand the pain you went through (and which apparently continues via your inlaws), and you have my sympathy and condolences for what you went through. But surely you see the huge difference between the case of a DNR on your wife, who was dying, and an order to deny sustenance to a woman who may otherwise live for another 20 years.

If MS had disclosed his wife's wishes to die before he got a large settlement to prvide for therapy etc., instead of suddenly remember ing it later, he would have a much better case.

No, I'm merely repeating what ALL the medical and court-appointed experts have said. Why do you think Michael Schiavo won all eleven court cases whereas her parents lost all eleven?

I am a parent four times over. I know how painful it will be to lose any of them and how reluctant I will be to face reality if any of them were placed in a similar situation. The hardest thing for any parent is to see their child die before themselves. I pray I'm never placed in a similar situation.

Terri's parents are trapped in limbo for 15 years. Instead of spending the twilight of their lives with each other and enjoying the remainder of their days; they are trying to take care of their invalid daughter in the hopes of a miracle.

If she hasn't recovered in 15 years, what makes people think the odds of recovery are higher next year?

How long will they last with the terrible responsibility of home caring their invalid daughter? Not going anywhere. Trapped in the house. No vacations or travels. No enjoyment of retirement.

I've no doubt they will either give up or die themselves within a few short years from the strain. If Terri was cognizant; I've no doubt she wouldn't want to be such a terrible burden on her parents during their elder years.

Big deal.

Kind of selective in which laws we like, aren't we.

BULL SQUEEZE on the Feds getting involved. The State decided as it should be. If you're looking for a Nanny State, try Cuba or NK. We have enough big Gov't as it is.

I am sorry to hear of your heartbreak regarding your children, I pray you and your family have found some peace since.

That is why I will not comment on Terri's fate directly; there are arguments on both sides that make very valid points.

Unfortunately, unlike most on this board, I have not been following this story very closely. I feel my opinion really would not add to this conversation.

The sad thing is that Terri's husband is the only one who knows, or claims to know, what her wish was regarding this scenario. I believe in the end, his wishes, which he claims to be hers, will be carried out.

I pray the family finds peace in knowing that our mortal lives are only temporary, and our eternal well being has already been determined.

President Bush, during his eulogy at the National Cathedral after 9-11, said something that in many describes the confusion and hurt that we see today, as well as, that God's wisdom is not always understood. Maybe seeing this will save countless others from having to make such pain staking decisions.

"This world He created is of moral design. Grief and tragedy and hatred are only for a time. Goodness, remembrance, and love have no end. And the Lord of life holds all who die, and all who mourn......As we have been assured, neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, can separate us from God's love."

Here's the nutjobs who believe in euthanizing:
(Some of you will want to put your tinfoil hats on, some not.)

1) She married him, they're not divorced, although he spends a he!! of a lot more time with his concubine than with his wife.
2) Who cares what happened, she's a vegetable.
3) She can't shtoink him anymore, so a man's gotta be a man.
4) The law says he gets to decide what punishment to inflict on her, despite the fact that he's the only one to ever hear her say "Don't keep me alive". It doesn't matter that she never said that to any else in all her 26 years previous.
5) She can't shtoink him anymore, so a man's gotta be a man.
6) 11 judges must be right (except if they decide to restrict my gun privileges).
7) Terri isn't hot, and she must be living a miserable life (even though I can't say that she ever spoke to me about it)
8) Courts are never wrong on these euthanasia cases.
9) She can't shtoi... well, you get the picture.

the evidence he killed a family pet.

I did see on another thread that he had her cats (plural) put to sleep, and that he said it was on Terri's mother's advice, which the vet who did it disputes. I forget which of the 100s of threads I saw it on.

But the bottom line is that you CAN get pulled over for 1 mph over the limit, right?

They ravers here want to start deciding law based on emotions.

Hopefully, they'll never sit on a jury.

Yes by all means, lets condemn this woman for another 20 years to just lay there. But for the fact they inserted a feeding tube into her, she would have died already. The dying process in her case was interupted by interferance by medical means. I am really sorry I am sounding harsh, but I just cant beleive you would want to live like this. She isnt there anymore. God Love Her.

Excuse me but the purposeful neglect, actively applied by ordering that Terri neither be taken outside nor given ANY therapy while being kept ONLY in the hospice room her once husband placed her in when he began seeking the state to put her down ... I'd say that amounts to abuse and neglect aimed at getting her will to live to die so her body will follow ... don't do anything to defend this man's image, he's very bad and contradicts himself regularly on national television.

Actually, according to ALL the medical and court-appointed observers who've spent a lot of time with Terri, she IS in a vegetitative state and is absolutely noncognizant.

This is why Michael has won all 11 court cases and her parents lost all 11.

Many people have been fooled by the videotape snippets her parents have put out. When people realize Terri's always like that whether her parents are there or not and has never shown any cognitive ability whatsoever in 15 years; they change their minds and become angry at her parents. I am one of them. I don't like being manipulated.

The guy got ON with his life

The fact is that he didn't. If he'd got ON with his life he would have relinquished control of Terri's care to her parents. A parent's love for a child never dies, and lasts long after a lover or husband's love has gone.
