"When Is That Bitch Gonna Die?" - Micheal Schiavo
BlueStarBase.org ^ | 3-21-2005 | Barbara Stanley

Posted on 03/21/2005 7:50:03 AM PST by Pendragon_6

Lets see, first Michael Schiavo beats and strangles his wife Terri, leaves her lying unconscious on the floor until her family arrives to get her to the hospital.

Then Michael Schiavo sues the hospital for $20 million because he needs the money to get his poor wife therapy.

Then Michael Schiavo pockets the money, denies his wife the care he said she needed and finally, claims she really wants to die.

Michael Schiavo killed his wife Terri's cat, melted down her wedding ring and then took up with his girlfriend and lives with her today with their children. Does this sound like a loving husband who really cares about his wife's wishes?

And what do we get on the tube every hour on the hour: “persistent vegetative state” as though any of the talking heads who ghoulishly proclaim Terri's life isn't worth that of a convicted serial killer sitting on death row (for 20 years, while due process goes on).

Michael Schiavo's supporters claim he loved his wife Terri enough to take a nursing degree so that he could take care of her. I think he got that nursing degree so he could inject her with insulin and hasten her death and his complete claim to all the money he won in litigation.

Just take a gander at the sworn testimony of an attending nurse: Carla Sauer Iyer (affidavit* below) but let me save you some time and report a quote of Michael Schiavo's after visiting his still living wife: "When is that bitch gonna die?"

Hmmm. Loving husband or man so afraid of not only not getting the money (what's left of the $20 million) but the prospect of facing a jury for his attempted murder, a charge which is possible as long as Terri lives. Sounds like motive to me.

Michael Schiavo says Terri said she never wanted to be kept alive on machines. Okay. Even if that was her statement (which there is absolutely no corroborating testimony and quite the unusual statement coming from a young, newly married woman still in her twenties and full of life); Terri is not being kept alive by machines!

Terri has a feeding tube from which she gets food and water. Had she had the care and therapy she was entitled to, there is every chance today Terri would be divorced from that louse and feeding herself just fine.

About that “loving husband” crapola: what husband do you know evinces his marital fidelity and love by living with another woman, having children with that woman and dumps his wife in a hospice while waiting for her to die? What loving husband kills his sick wife's pet? What loving husband denies his wife's family visitation?

I ask these questions because the media morons are still stuck with their new term: “persistent vegetative state” and are oblivious to the actual facts of this tragic case.

That's funny, because we Orthodox Christians don't take these types of vows, that is a listed set of vows.

Few things here that we differ on...other than that, I do appreciate and applaud your line of thinking.

a.) In most states, a feeding tube would NOT be considered an artificial manner of maintaining life. A personal friend lost his wife to stomach cancer last year. She spent the final 9 months of her life rather fully functional, but taking nutrients and water through a feeding tube.

b.) There are a number of people that I am aware of, locally to me, who live day-to-day by having their food and water delivered by feeding tube, and by licensed nursing staff. They are not able to do this themselves.

c.) Don't think the premise of a No Resuss Clause is proper here, because the act of a professional medical person (or, just a trained layman) feeding an incapacitated person through a feeding tube does not fully smack of artificial rescucitation.

Just as a sidenote...has anyone linked the act of removing her feeding tube to the act of assisted suicide? That's illegal in most states. If it's determined that the feeding tube is not truly an artificial act, then wouldn't her supposed request to perish be such? This is the issue that haunts me more than any other, personally.

No doubt. I'd HATE to have some of these people on a jury trying me for something.

The HELL with the FACTS of the case. It's all gut reaction. So if they don't like your suit, that's that, you're getting the chair.

Did he take her pet to the SPCA to be put to sleep or did he kill it violently? This matters because it shows what kind of disposition he has. Most decent people cannot violently kill a family pet--if they don't want them, they drop them off at the shelter and they will euthanize. The people who can kill domestic pets have a tendency to violent acts towards humans too, and such actions indicate a psychopathic, anti social personality. Consider that just about every serial killer known started out with arson and the violent killing of someone's (even their own)family pet.

She was trying to starve herself on her own! I didn't realize that either. I just read this in a newspaper:

Terri Schiavo suffered brain damage in 1990 when her heart stopped briefly because of a possible potassium imbalance brought on by an eating disorder.

How ironic....

Ed:

You did the right thing....sometimes the hardest thing to do is let someone we love dearly die.

I have a living will that will save me from this ordeal, but if I didn't, I would hope my spouse would allow me to die rather than live in such a manner.

"We prefer dignity and a quality of life vice (sic) lying in our own pee and crap until the nurse can get there.

You are a disgrace and should be ashamed of yourself for spewing your verbal diarrhea on the memory of my niece (you can reread post #38, to which you never responded). You disgrace every handicapped, paraplegic, quadriplegic, and brain-injured person in this country.

Shame on you.

Terri Schiavo simply needs food and nutrition. She is not on "life support." (And she is not unconscious or unresponsive, just not consistently responsive)

To act to pull the tube is unethical because the intention is to cause her death.

The prohibition by Michael for years not to give anything by mouth is questionable as long as the tube feedings continue. In light of the determination to stop feeding, however, it does not look ethical.

It would not be unethical to feed her by mouth, although it risks aspiration pneumonia, because the intention would be comfort and hydration, not to cause a pneumonia.

Interesting to me that those pics of Terri are so much more flattering than the ones on the frontpage of yesterday's Miami Herald. The Herald ran some very unflattering photographs of Terri. She looks quite attractive in the ones you selected. The Miami Herald is, of course, very "liberal." Makes you wonder.

Or perhaps the 3 fractured vertebrae were from Michael's loving hands.

Call Gov Jeb Bush and demand that he take Terri into protective custody RIGHT NOW in order to investigate outstanding charges of abuse, neglect and exploitation by his very own Dept. of Children and Families.

Jeb Bush's # 1-850-488-4441 - Terri can't wait 'til 3 p.m. today.

Good catch. Thanks.

Terry's brother said last night on FOX that there was a court injunction against taking any videos or pictures of Terry. That was done so her real condition and actions with her parents could not be seen.

Well said. My wife and I have one as well. I feel that Terry's parents are merely selfish and refuse to let her move on.

So why don't we stick a needle in her arm and let her die without the torture of dying of thirst?
