On what basis did he sue the hospital and how much was he awarded?
Michael mentions that he heard a strong last gasp coming from Terri that night. I think Michael thought she was DEAD.

You're making a lot of claims that you'll have to support. Where's the evidence he tried to kill his wife and the evidence he killed a family pet. Not to mention melting down a wedding ring.
If that's all hearsay then it doesn't belong in the discussion.
This may be factual, but there is no evidence it ever happened.
As far as I'm concerned, unless there is hard medical evidence of such things, it should not be repeated.
To me, this is very much like Michael claiming "Terri said" and doesn't do those of us who think Terri shouldn't be killed any favors.

The melting down of the wedding ring I believe is established fact.
However, the beating of Terri has not been established as fact, near as I can tell.
Glenn Beck played a call last week from the woman who was his "first fling" post-Terri. She said Michael was a major-league control freak.
Factually speaking, her HUSBAND, no matter what anyone thinks ABOUT him, IS the Next of Kin and LEGALLY, has the ONLY right to decide. Her parents, according to the LAW should lose the lawsuit. You may not like it but there it is.

Exactly. I'd imagine that he would be in prison right now if there was ANY proof that he did that. Heck, you don't even need proof - Look at Peterson getting the death penalty for a conviction with ZERO proof that he killed Laci.
Her feeding tube is important for this moment, but the most important thing is for the court to release Terri from Micheal's 'care', giving her back to the custody of her parents.
Until this is done, she will be under constant threat from any additional 'plans' he may have for her.

I suppose you'd support Terri's right to due process until such claims were validated/invalidated by an exhaustive investigation and court inquiry!?
I read on another thread that he had her cats euthanized. There was speculation on that thread as to why this was done but not substantiated, so I won't repeat it here.
