Continuation of Terri Schiavo daily March threads. Due to overwhelming participation we reached over 5000 posts in three days time!
I understand! That feeding tube should have already been placed back in. We are impatient for that!
We are waiting for a Federal judge who presides in a Fl district to do something. He is a Clinton appointee, and he has spent hours and hours "reading everything", he says, while refusing to put Terri's feeding tube back in first.
This is one thing bugging me:
For all I know, she may be dead right now. [God forbid!] Judge Whittmore might already know she's dead and have been asked to not make that knowledge public until after a private cremation ceremony. Since Whittmore is a Clinton judge [I've been told], I would not be surprized if that were true.
Interesting.
Steve did a great job in the debates and on tv today...
He has? What time did he get the law? I thought it was sometime this morning. It is only 8am. I didn't think he got the Law until just a little while ago.
I think they should move to disbar the judge - he is just stalling...
I know, but JEB can move too at the same time.
Now that the entire nation is hearing Theresa crys in pains, that's enough to move in ASAP!
MS FelonS lawyer is going to delay, and delay with motion this and that, and this.
Jeb & DCF can now move in....
What does he got to lose ? He's only in office for one more year anyway....
You can adopt Steve. This man is extraordinary. He has guts you won't believe.
"People, come on. Just cause this judge wants to read everything before he desides what to do is a good thing."
Right. And she should not be starved to death until he does.
Don't go there! Yes it's not beyond Felos and MS but they are under much more scrutiny now than before. They'd definitely be insane to pull anything now.
We know Bob & Suzanne visited Terri during the night.
If Whittmore drags his feet and she starves in the meantime: IMPEACH!
There are more vastly important issues in this case. As I said, when CNN issues a statement that their transcript is in error, then we'll issue a correction. Until then, I'm not wasting more time on it.
This woman lied about the President's record in Texas, but have to understand. She's the sanest representative they have on the Dem which isn't saying much. The rest look like Franks.
Her family has been visiting her. If what you say is true, we would know something. At first it was reported they were denied visits, whether true or not I don't know, but later they were going and coming from her hospice room, and they spoke with reporters outside.
Unfortunately, I think it's over for Terri. I have no confidence whatsoever that this court is going to do the right thing, and I don't think either the Florida legislature, the governor, the U.S. Congress or President Bush is going to do any more than they have already done. I don't like being a pessimist, but I don't want to delude myself either.
I don't understand why the parents were denied visitation to Terri earlier - it simply doesn't make sense and should be a huge RED FLAG to all those who keep thinking this situation "happens all the time".
Do you have a link to Terri's cries, Orlando.
I heard them last night, and it made me cry.
