Continuation of Terri Schiavo daily March threads. Due to overwhelming participation we reached over 5000 posts in three days time!
"Home is better than nursing home any day."
Absolutely right you are, FV.
I've been taking care of my Dad, who is completely paralyzed from two major strokes, for the last 8 years. He demands 24-hr attention from dressing him to shaving him to feeding him. I may be poor and jobless, but my Dad ain't going to a nursing home.
ty, texasstar; I've been posting enough (I hope) without spamming....but, pretty soon, I'm going to need a volunteer to take over. It's getting late for me here (after midnight).
Did you hear him say he can love two people???? (talking about his common law wife and Terri)
The family was kicked out with Attorney Weller after Terri DECLARED TO THEM THAT SHE WANTED TO LIVE. Once they were kicked out by law enforcement, the tube was removed and Michael's concubine made the press announcement that the feeding tube was out. Imagine having to hear that news from the concubine.
Michael LOVES his wife (Terri). She is a part of his life. She will never leave it. He can LOVE more than one person. NO *HIT! Obviously, he THINKS he can have more than ONE WIFE!
well he is a demoncrat and just admitted it so are you surprised?
I never gave up on my father OR stoped praying for him when he was dying, though there were those who thought I should. I was 25 at the time. My attitude then, was much the same as Terri's. It still is.
I am not going to give up now, either. We should all continue praying and working on her behalf. No matter which way this goes, we then must pursue further Justice in this matter.
I believe it .. they're frightening.
If you want to see how the hospice of pinellas suncoast is structured, try googling jonathan alpert hospice and see what happens. Alpert represents terminated Hospice employees who refused to follow certain orders. Mary Labyak has a lot of mini-corporations that ARE FOR PROFIT going on while she directs Hospice. It may be a money laundering scheme. Hospice of Pinellas owes the federal government 14 million dollars. They better be careful with Terri or they could be shut down by someone like Delegate Marshall from Virginia.
FV, when you see Sean tomorrow, pass along pc's e-mail address in case the files are corrupted. TY!
The president can write an executive order to get Terri into a hospital immediately. It is not breaking any law to do so. The judge can still take time to ruminate over this case. This action would not interfere with the judge. And since Greer already flaunted a Congressional subpoena his ruling is highly questionable.
Executive orders are lawful. They've been written by presidents ever since Washington on a number of different issues.
Contacting the president and ask him to write an executive order immediately. If you cannot reach him, then contact your state senators and representatives.

Michael has cried many tears so far. PUKE!
Sean gets bashed alot on here but he's a good guy and he gets involved and really puts out the information.
Here's a letter that my friend wrote. Shorter letters have a better chance of being published, but this might offer you some ideas. Time is short.
"I have heard different opinions expressed, including the advice that people
should move beyond this story and get on with their own lives. However, it
is a fair bet that the public is not nearly as sick of hearing about this
story as those closest to Ms. Schiavo are sick over the deadly injustice
being inflicted upon her.
Ms. Schiavo is now dying, without the right to have family, friends, and
numerous medical experts and personal caregivers speak on her behalf. It is
also documented that Ms. Schiavo is conscious, understands, and attempts
meaningful communication. Still, in the moments prior to the feeding tube
being pulled, her cries went unheeded even as she struggled to speak and
say, "I want to live."
The question here is not about the right to die since Ms. Schiavo is being
starved and dehydrated against her will. In fact, one attorney in this
case has observed that the battle is not fending off unwanted medical care,
but getting a doctor to treat you.
Why is there silence by human rights and social justice organizations as
these acts of neglect and court-ordered euthanasia play out before our very
eyes? There should be outraged over the death by decree issued against
Terri Schiavo. "
I'm sure the presidents' lawyers have advised him on such executive order.
If he can issue such an order (and I believe he can) what the heck is he waiting for? Issue it! Get Terri of that d*mned hospice now!!
We are all RIGHT WING constituents. That's news to me! I live in ARKANSAS! lol!
NO, Michael has systematically restricted access by anyone who is in the least sympathetic to Terri.

During the period in which she daily cared for Terri there was no publicity. Just Michael [Terri's husband] trying to accelerate her death, she said. Iyer explained that she would often sneak Terris parents, the Schindlers, into see her and that Michael refused to allow therapy of any kind. In fact, he was physically intimidating and would very loudly command the nurses this is my order and you're going to follow it.
We were very intimidated the whole place, Iyer revealed, adding that some nurses had a restraining order against Michael Schiavo because his behavior was so bad.
When Terri had a urinary or upper respiratory tract infection Michael was visibly excited and would visit more often, asking is she dead yet? According to Iyer, at one point Michael exclaimed, When is that b**** going to die?
After Michaels visits, Iyer stated that Terri, at times, became symptomatic for hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). Iyer said she found an unexplainable bottle of fast acting insulin concealed in Terris wastebasket that she speculates could have been used to induce the condition. She filed a police report but heard nothing further regarding the incident. Subsequently she received death threats she believes were related to notifying the authorities and was later released from her position as a caregiver because of her actions in support of Terri.
