Continuation of Terri Schiavo daily March threads. Due to overwhelming participation we reached over 5000 posts in three days time!
Just called the White House switchboard -- person said she's NOT AUTHORIZED to take a message. Must call back in the morning when the Presiden't staff is there. Get ready for morning calls!!
I believe executive orders only apply to federal employee's, what you're saying would imply the President has dictatorial power and he doesn't.
What do we know about this judge? Isn't he a Clinton appointed judge? That tells us a lot. I just hope the President will step in again before it is too late.

Please, whoever posted the auditors statement regarding using professional guardians to fleece the elders, I have a big favor. Please call DeLay and McCains offices and arrange to e-mail that report to them. This scam is being perpetrated all over and it needs a senate investigation.

Terri had bruises on her quite frequently according to one of Terri's friend. They looked like someone had grabbed her or squeezed her. PUKE!!!
Just a thought --- what do people think about organizing a hunger strike to protest this starving to death of an innocent person?

Secondly, Terry from Operation Rescue said today on Hannity's show that they are now also focusing on the Florida Legislature. There are 9 (I think) who voted for Terri's Law in 2003, who didn't this time. They only need 3 willing to change their vote back to Terri, in order to pass the Florida Terri's Law. He said that at least two of them were showing some willingness to change their minds. We can be bombarding these Senators with emails and phone calls and faxes urging them to be willing to vote for Terri. This post gives the contact information for those 9 Senators:

The Florida legislation is the best bet, the way I understand it. It will not only protect Terri, but all other persons who do not have written directives from being starved and dehydrated to death.

Seaside, am I correct you are relatively new to this thread? Please be assured the people here have worked extremely hard...if you're coming in a bit late you may not know that. There are activists here. To say the people who have worked TIRELESSLY on this board are whining is just not to understand that they have travelled, spent money they don't have, spent hours on the phone, lobbying, writing, praying, praying and praying again. If you're new to this you may not know that people are so exhausted from the battle that a little "whining" as you put it is warranted. No on has sat on their tushie. But I know you feel as we feel, and thank you for that.
