Continuation of Terri Schiavo daily March threads. Due to overwhelming participation we reached over 5000 posts in three days time!
I am at a point now I have no patience with these idiots. It is one thing to drown in your own stupidity but to take innocents with you is another story. What kind of person why you be to take a stand that there is nothing wrong with STARVING a human being....God have mercy on whatever soul they may or may not have.
Gotta jump in the shower in 15 minutes darnit! Well before I do, Let me just send out hugs and continued prayers to y'all! Keep up the good fight!
No, it was a live stream of the front of the courthouse... and it just went blank...
AMEN!
When 2 or more are in agreement....we are more than 2!

Please let Hannity know for his show tonight that there was someone else much more believable than Michael who CONTRADICTED Michael on Terri's wishes. I couldn't get through on his radio show.
Diane Meyer was a friend of Terri's. Judge Greer decided not to believe her, based on a wrong assumption on his part. That's what one of the new motions was about.
Heres Diane's story:

Judge Greer said that Ms. Meyers was very believable, but that she must have been mistaken about Terris age at the time, because Karen Ann Quinlen was dead at the time they watched the movie and Terri used the present tense. This was not true. The new attorneys filed a motion to overturn the ruling based on Judge Greer's error, but Judge Greer denied it. I think Hannity is going to have one of the Schindler's attorneys on the show tonight.
I wanted to send the motions to Hannity, but can't seem to get to the motions on this case on Terri's site.
yw!
When I am really nervous, I do the old southern prayer tradition of pleading the blood of Jesus.
I plead the blood of Jesus on Terry Schaivo, and all who are working to properly care for her today.
I plead the blood of Jesus on the Schindlers.
I plead the blood of Jesus on Lawyer Gibbs, on everything he says to save Terri, on all that he files, on all his arguments.
I plead the blood of Jesus that the judge will listen with true wisdom and decide according to God's will.
I plead the blood of Jesus on all the people helping to fight for Terri.
O Lord, may your precious blood cover us, keep us safe, and lead us to our eternal home, Amen.
Beautiful prayer. Amen!
Amen sister!
Old Southern Prayer tradition! I thought that was the Washington D.C. Southern Baptist tradition! ;-D
When are we the people going to finally get tired of relying on judges to make law???
When are we going to let the president and the congress know we want them to step in more strongly?
When?
I don't mean to undermine anyone here on this board for you all are the finest.....but when we continually "look to" judges like this.....and they continue flaunting reason.....we begin to look like serfs.
This is the correct procedure at this point.
I was shocked by Terri's case. Then I found that she's not the only one. We HAVE to work to stop this from ever happening again. Stopping food for a dying patient that can no longer tolerate being fed because their body is shutting down is NOT the same thing as this. People need to be educated about what's happening.
Somebody help me! I'm at http://thomas.loc.gov trying to get the text of the bill they passed last night. There are several versions of S686 and HR182, which one is it?
Amen and Amen!
check if they are on findlaw.com, I know some of them are
Amen, Lord. May the healing power of the Blood of Lamb be upon Terri and all who fight for her life.
I confess that the joy of the Lord is our strength. Strengthen your servant David Gibbs as he stands against the forces of evil and darkness. May he vanquish Terri's foes with a single blow, as did the shepherd boy David fighting against Goliath. The giant who was feared by all was brought to nought.
So let it be. To our Father in Heaven be all honor and glory now and forever. In the mighty name of Jesus!
Amen.
