Could be because after he got the money for the therapy, he refused the therapy...He spent over 400,000 of it on his lawyer trying to 'let her die' instead...
This is by far one of the most difficult issues that I have seen in my either young or old life.
I just want to make sure that we have access to all the documents and background to help those who are either unaware (in a snow bank in Alaska) or on the fence. That is all I can do.
Medical reality has not yet been able to regroe a cerebral cortex, which Terri Schiavo is missing over half of.
And even that would have no effect on whether or not her testimony was accepted. No judge or prosecutor on Earth would go to trial with the non-evidence we have now, let alone now that the jury pool has been irretrievably tainted. Terri Schiavo's testimony would be legally worthless because of the extreme time involved AND the brain damage.

I agree. It's good to listen to what Michael Schiavo's supporters have to say. But I must say, I have quite a bit of trouble swallowing stuff like "It is Centonze, Scott Schiavo said, who now does all Terri's laundry." Huh? She is a full time resident in a hospice, being cared for by the hospice staff. Am I really supposed to believe that the staffers who change her hospital gowns collect them in a laundry basket and hold them for Jodi's weekly visit to pick up the dirty ones and drop off the clean ones she washed?
PVS, persistant vegetative state, funny, in my day I just called'em "useless eaters". Worked fine for me, but I like the quasi-scientific ring of the pvs thing.

I am sympathetic to the parents' side. However, some people have promised him a lot of money if he would just give up Terri to her parents. He could do that and divorce her. If he was money grubbing he would have done it. His actions make absolutely no sense except if he truly believes he's doing Terri a favor.

All I can say is that Heaven would be much, much better than a life like that (for myself, anyway). Whether Terri really wants to live like that or not is the question. Michael Schiavo says she doesn't, while most of the rest of the world who wasn't there when she supposedly stated her wish says otherwise.
