US House of Rep. in an Extraordinary Sunday night Session [Schiavo] (Bush Signs Schiavo bill)
Posted on 03/20/2005 6:03:40 PM PST by FoxPro
This is an unprecedented session. The Congress is meeting to save one persons life (in real time).
The only reason the Democrats are agreeing to this is that they dont want to be known as the party that killed Terri.
This is American history happening before your eyes.

The latest information from someone close to the family is that her fever has subsided and she's OK.
That was posted on a thread earlier this afternoon.

How much worse could it have been than traitor-rapist42, degrading morality, slandering conservatives, giving (or selling) aid and comfort to the enemy (PRC), using FBI files to blackmail opponents, et cetera.
Now we have a president who is a man of faith leading from the presidency, and we have just witnessed congressional leaders of both houses (Frist, Delay, Hastert, Sensenbrenner, et al) drawing a line in the sand--for life.
We have drawn blood on one of the invincible triad of media anchors, while the effectiveness of such "alternate media" as Jim Robinson's Free Republic (of which vast conspiracy you are an arch operative) increases, and the talk radio leaders (Rush, Sean, and others) continue to grow in influence.
The overall tenor of the "silent majority" was expressed in the presidential election of 2004 in which a liberal traitor gigolo girly-man was decisively defeated--despite massive "mainstream media" flacking and widespread voter fraud.
The importance of faith and the reverence for life among the people increases, together with its "turning away" from the towers of Babel on both coasts.
It isn't yet morning in America, but the eastern horizon is lightening.
It's always Game Day: Good v. Evil, but it's no longer a game with only corrupt referees and snipers in the stands.
Mel said to "hammer Him with prayers"--
Peter, Paul and Mary were wrong to use the subjunctive case; we've always had the hammer.

No problem, it is amazing how those who think they are so clever with SMEARING, scream when they incite others to loose their cool and call names.

When the people who are calling for Terri's immediate death (worse than a dog's lot) are the same ones who will demand mercy for the re-offending sex predator who murdered that little girl - one must ask ... Am I on the right side? Sorry, but that is really distorted logic.
I did not and have never called for her death, but have defended the process that came to the conclusions that see had expressed her desire to not be kept in this condition.
I am sickened by the interference of the Fed into a issue litigated fairly and extremely thoroughly.
I suspect, that the district court is not likely to take this up. If that happens, the republican party will be guilty of using this situation for political gain and compounding the wrongness of it.

If they do, it will simply be another chapter in our quest to bring the courts back under control. To hold the courts ultimately accountable, judicial review should be abolished but as I said, that's a subject for another day. We did all we could do to save Terri's life. We have nothing to apologize for, when it comes to extend her the right every other American has: to have our courts hear her case. If that's unconstitutional - then the very idea of America itself has no meaning.

You do realize you sound just like a DU'er after the election. Things didn't go their way so they were going to pack their bags and move. Very immature.
