This is an unprecedented session. The Congress is meeting to save one persons life (in real time).
The only reason the Democrats are agreeing to this is that they don’t want to be known as the party that killed Terri.

You are the one who is sick. You seem NOT to care of the life of a woman whom who DID NOT have a living will made out as to what she would like to happen to her in case she is mentally incapicated and unable to make her wishes known. This is a precedent setting ruling. Do you not want someone to intervene on your behalf if your life is being decided by a spouse who no longer visits you, would not allow any medical treatments for over 15 years, not even the brushing of her teeth in over 2 years? Not even being given her deathbed communion of bread and wine since she is catholic? Is this what you want to happen to people who are incapacitated?
