US House of Rep. in an Extraordinary Sunday night Session [Schiavo] (Bush Signs Schiavo bill)
Posted on 03/20/2005 6:03:40 PM PST by FoxPro
This is an unprecedented session. The Congress is meeting to save one persons life (in real time).
The only reason the Democrats are agreeing to this is that they dont want to be known as the party that killed Terri.
This is American history happening before your eyes.

Actually, the hearsay rule has many exceptions, such as the exception providing for public documents (e.g. driving record maintained by the State of Indiana's Bureau of Motor Vehicles). Moreover, the legislature can change the rules of evidence. Apparently, this is what was done in Florida.

I am so impressed with these Republican speakers -- Souder was great! The contrast is startling to say the least!

A primary challenge is most appropriate.

"..the Dems call this a "right-to-die" case."
And they should feel right at home while Dr. Kevorkian serves them 'tea'.

I keep telling my kids. This is good versus evil. This is history being made. This is incredible.
I sat and watched the Fla House do this in 2002. I can hardly believe I am sitting here watching this tonight.

Moving to Florida? I'm starting to wonder if I even want to vacation there anymore. What if I'm in an accident or something? We have family there. But they are libs and basically don't stay informed on anything.
