I am not a supporter of legalizing marijuana, but it seems we are fighting a winless batgtle against drugs, while allowing pedophiles to run free. This society does not protect its children. Last Saturday, there was a flyer put on my parents door notifying them of four sexual predators all within a four block of their home and this is not a trashy neighborhood.

Pedophiles/sexual predators come in all sizes, shapes, colors, and professions. Some are bums and scum; some are doctors and priests; some are parents; and some are relatives of our own. When I was a small child, many of my friends had "funny uncles" that we were never supposed to get close to - that is the way our folks handled it. But, then, back then, a man like that knew if he touched one of us our fathers would kill him and no one would do a thing about it. Sometimes a good healthy fear of facing the consequences of your actions will do more to keep you straight than anything else.
