You should say men and Women. Just today in VA a mother was arrested for taking nude pictures of her 13 year old daughter - to show them to the child's step-father. He is in jail for having raped the girl.
So women take their share of blame in evil doing I am sad to say. I just have less sympathy for a woman who abuses or allows abuse of her child/children - I guess because I am a mom and I just can't understand how a person can do that.
They said he was 46, he looks 70.
Sounding the alarm is not "hate".
Meanwhile our Congress is wasting time with Baseball players....

So did I. It was totally inappropriate.
Once one of these child killers turns their eyes on your kid and decide "that's the one that fits my sick desires" your child is as good as gone. This is what they do. They wait, they stalk, the find out when the child is most vulnerable, and they pounce. All we are left with is an over burden court system, clogged jails and ineffective parole/probation procedures. I'm afraid that it's not going to get better.
Right now I think this is a horrible world.

The irony is astounding.
I saw an interview of the former employer and I believe the incident to which you refer was not recent. At that time he had not yet been a convicted child molester.
He also said the letters were more like romantic ramblings (equally sick though) and the young girl told the employer and her parents. He was then fired and ended up moving from the area.
Eventually he returned and apparently not until after the molestation convictions. That is if I heard it correctly. :-)

I saw a restaurant owner on tv last night say that he had fired him in mid 90's for sending a "love letter" to a 14-15 yr old girl that also worked there; said things to her like he loved her; she was his soul-mate. Scared the girl to death.
The Florida data base isn't all that easy to use (just tried it). It's almost like you have to know a guy is a sex offender before you can find him in the list. Or did I misunderstand those directions ~ this is a Florida thing isn't it!

Well, we usually put in our zip code and a list of sex offenders in our zip comes up.
But if you put in his name, and he is a registered offender, a search should pull him up....but it doesn't.
Makes you wonder if they didn't have him in the database, which would be sad because usually our neighborhood police officers alert us of sex offenders living in our area.
I also tried Citrus County, and alphabetically, he didn't show either.
It will be interesting to find out why he's not in the database.
