A mentally disabled woman whose court ordered starvation-execution began Friday attempted to contradict her estranged husband's claim that she wants to die hours before her feeding tube was disconnected, an eyewitness is claiming.
Barbara Weller, an attorney for Terri Schiavo's parents, told reporters Friday afternoon that during her visit earlier in the day she told Ms. Schiavo:
"Terri, if you would just say, 'I want to live,' - all of this will be over."
According to pro-life activist Randall Terry, who recounted the scene to radio host Sean Hannity, Schiavo tried desperately to repeat Weller's words.
"'I waaaaannt . . .' Schiavo allegedly said, in a prolonged yell that had police stationed nearby running into her hospice room.
"She just started yelling, 'I waaaannt, I waaaannt,'" Terry said, according to Weller's account.
At that point police ejected Weller, he said.
I first heard of the travesty against Terri Schiavo through Glenn Beck a year or two ago. To say though that he is the only member of the media who has addressed the matter is incorrect. Throughout the internet media, hosts of many radio programs, including Alex Jones, George Noorey, Michael Savage, Michael Corbin, Jeff Rense, Lisa Guiliani and no doubt many others have been accurately informing their listeners of the Terri Schiavo story. Some of the mainstream TV media and newspapers have told the story, but in most cases that I've seen or read, they've gotten it wrong.
That is putz in the story, and the court ignored him accordingly.
No, I did not read about Crawford. I am tired of seeing the same tripe.
Everyone attached to this case on the Shiavo side has been demonized.

Uh. What do YOU think he testified about. He's only a teaching physician and not a practicing doctor. He's THE only doctor who said Terri has no cortex. The other Dr Bamkidis or some such, wouldn't go that far.
It was quite clear the consensus was PVS.

BTW, As I read it, there were three doctors that agreed she is vegetative and will not ever recover, not just two or one. That was the question. They differed on some of the particulars.(one did not, Shindlers DR.)
That was just the last hearing. There are dozens of hearings for many reasons, most of them to ferret out BS.
I hope this is over, but I doubt it.
While I was typing that last post I inadvertently had FOX's Hannity show, which I usually avoid, on and I heard another one of these stupid family claims!

Why won't they allow Terri to be seen? Why did Schiavo turn down Larry Kings offer to tape Terri and show the world she's PVS? Can you entertain the slightest thought that maybe it's because they're hiding something? Of course not. All judges are honest and so are all estranged husbands.

I thought you said you'd read everything about this case. Guess not. There's a new technology called fMRI. No I don't know what the "f" stands for or why it's not capitalised.There was a NY Times article about it here on FR last month. It's used for brain damaged patients.

He says it every time he appears in public. He is protecting her from being used, and from having her privacy violated.
Nothing unreasonable about that.
I don't need to gawk at the poor girl to know she is in a bad way. Not being a DR, I could not make a judgment on PVS. Or Florida laws regarding PVS. Neither can Larry King.
Could be that I pay little attention to hyperbole and ignore such things as RINO, HINO, DINO or even ROFLMAO!
Your ignorance showed. If you claim to oppose a side thoughtfully, you have to know something about their lingo. HINO has figured prominently, instigated probably by Supercat but then adopted by many others. It is a nice short way of saying philanderer and adulterer and begetter of bastards.
Except when HINO makes salacious statements about her private parts, I suppose.
